As if right on cue Mrs. Anderson walks up to us and looks at Jayce, well more like glared at him.

 Jayce shifts and rubs his neck. Mrs. Anderson gave him a fake smile and looked at me and Liz.

“Who is this girls?” she asked in a serious tone. I tried not to laugh but Liz just started laughing then covered her mouth trying to stop.

 I elbowed her in the ribs and she looked at me with tears in her eyes from laughing so hard. I rolled my eyes, Mrs. Anderson cleared her throat, and “Well who is this?”

 I composed myself and looked at her “This Jamie Is Jayce, my friend from Jersey! Jayce this is Jamie!” I said motioning between the two of them

 I was secretly praying my lying skills would pay off. Jayce just waved while Mrs. Anderson looked at him confusing.

“I didn’t know you knew people in jersey Lexi! How’d you two meet?” She asked raising an eyebrow.

 I looked at her then him, Come on Lexi think Damnit! I was just about to tell her the truth when

Liz said “Remember mom, He was Aunt Linda’s date to our Christmas party last year?” She said while finishing off her Italian Ice

. I looked at her and she just nodded.

 Mrs. Anderson blushed and looked at Jayce apologetic “I’m sorry I forgot who you were! You look so much older.” She said and he just nodded “It’s understandable, I was shorter then.” He said with a completely straight face but giving me a look that made me laugh.

 Mrs. Anderson looked at me and Liz,

“Well I have to go. Liz, Lexi, you coming?” Liz sighed and nodded “Ya, I need to catch up on my CSI! I’ll see you Lexi!”

 she pulled me into a hug “Call me later and tell me what happens?” she whispered into my ear. I look at her, laugh and nod.

She smiles and walks away with Mrs. Anderson she turns around and waves to me, I wave back, and they were gone.

I turn to Jayce and we both start laughing,

“Now, Lex it is not good to lie!” he said pointing a finger at me like he was my dad and I start laughing.

 “O Ya? Who lied also? O I know you!” I said laughing and pointing a finger back at him.

We keep laughing then walk to the board walk and go into Candy kitchen.

I look at the candy and hold his hand without realizing it.

When I look down and see our hands interlaced I blush and see he’s smiling.

I walk over to the counter and look through the glass at the fudge,

 “Um yes may I have 2 pieces of the chocolate fudge?” The man behind the counter nodded and put it in a box I looked at Jayce.

 “Do you want some?” He nods and looks at them all. He smiles “I’d like a peanut butter one, a dark chocolate one, and a mint one please.” I look at him and he shrugs.

 I pull out my credit card and takes it from me and I look at him and raise an eyebrow.

 He shakes his head and swipes his credit card “I am the guy so I buy Lex!” He said in a British voice, I laugh and grab the bag.

 I say goodbye to the cashier and walk on the boardwalk still holding his hand.

We look around and my eyes light up when I see the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum and pull him towards it.

He eyes me suspiciously and I just smile, he buys us a ticket and we walk in.

I stop him in front of this mirror and we make crazy faces, I keep walking and we go through a tunnel that throws off your balance, I almost fall and he holds me by my waist, I smile.

 We look at torture chambers and deformed animals.

 We leave it and I get an old lady to take a picture of me and him on the big tire.

 We smile and as she takes the picture He kisses my cheek.

 I thank her and we walk down the boardwalk.

I walk with him to his Challenger.

 I look at him “Why were you here?” I ask raising an eyebrow, He shrugs and looks at me

“I usually come down here on weekends, it’s a long drive but it’s worth it!”

 I smile and get in the car with him,

 “Are you sure you don’t mind driving me home? I mean I could just stay at a hotel and get a cab home in the morning?” I say motioning to the Hilton behind us.

He shakes his head and starts the car, “It’s almost one in the morning you can just stay at my house I have a spare room you can stay in?” I smile and nod,

 “Wait where do you live?” He smiles “I live near Solomon’s so it won’t be that far away from your house.” He said with a wink,

 I smirked and look out the window. I listen to the radio and hear “Young Forever” By the Ready Set.

 I smile and start to sing along  “we'll be young forever we'll be young forever we can be like prisoners yeah and we can be alone or we can make a mess like no one knows and risk it on our own spendin' the money that we don’t have cuz we don’t get our owe livin' like kings with broken strings and our face down to the floor livin' with our headphones up we got sound and that’s enough nobody can touch us and we run and we run and we run.” Jayce looks at me and laughs I stop singing and blush.

 “You are so cute when you blush Lex!” I playfully push him and look out the window.

A few hours later and I wake up to someone poking me. “Come on mom few more minutes!”

 I hear a laugh and realize it’s Jayce.

 I turn and look at him “I’m sorry I fell asleep didn’t I?” he laughs and nods

 I look around and see I was in a green room on a blue bed spread.

 I smile “You carried me in here?” 

 He smiles and nods “Let me just say what the hell do you eat?” He laughs and I playfully push him.

 He laughs and lays next to me, He puts his head on his hand and looks at me smiling.

I smile and kiss him, he kisses back and I smile.

 “Go back to sleep I’ll be here when you wake up Lex.” He says kissing me again then lies down.

 I raise an eyebrow “Why do you call me Lex?” I say with a yawn,

 he smiles “Guess”  “Because it rhymes with sex?” He starts laughing and shakes his head

“No silly, it’s because of Lex Luthor!”

I give him a confused look and he laughs

“You know Superman’s power-mad, evil scientist, archenemy who wanted world domination and to kill superman? He was also on small vile?”

I nod and laugh I smile and close my eyes falling back to sleep.
