11: Again?

Jakes POV

I've spent my days in bed, Darren is stronger than he looks. Chloe hasn't come round properly yet, she only came over to take a selfie and she left.

My parents are still on their world trip, I see them once a year but I like it that way, I've got my aunt. My aunt and jades aunt cherry were friends in school, I knew her before jade and we've been close ever since, she says she prefers me to the new guy she has, I don't know who he is.

Jade, fuck jade, I miss her, behind the constant guilt I felt with her she always made me feel good, the pain she must have felt probably made her want to save others from feeling that way.

It's about noon, I woke up about an hour earlier, I lay in bed with ice on my nose just because my nose is still slightly swollen and school is tomorrow, I'll still have a small cut but I'll be ok. I hear my phone ring and I answer it.

"Hello?" I ask and I hear a sigh.

Jades POV

Darren has let me park my bike in his garage as he says it's going to rain soon, not surprising, it's England for gods sake.

We walk in and Darren gets his mums old keys and gives me the key of the front door, back door and garage, I give him a kiss and we go and collapse on the sofa, I flick through the movies and my phone rings, it's Jake.

"Umm, keep looking for a film, I have to take this." I say and Darren nods at me but I can tell he looks at me nervously but let's me go anyway.

I walk into the kitchen and answer the phone.

"Hey, what do you want?" I ask trying not to be rude.

"It's your aunt, she's been in an accident, she is ok but we need to go to the hospital, St. James's." He says and I hang up. I just stand there, frozen.

"You ok?" Darren asks.

I look up and see him, the tears fall and I run to him, I wasn't ok.

"A-aunt c-cherry." Sob "accident." I say, stuttering.

"Shhh, shhh it's ok, come on, let's go, I'm sure she'll be fine." He whispers into my hair, I nod, he always knows how to calm me down.

He hugs me as we walk to his car, it starts to drizzle as I get into the passenger side, Darren closes my door and I lean on the door, as Darren gets in I put on the radio, we are the champions comes on.

"I've payed my dues, time after time, I've done my sentence, but committed no crime." I hear queen sing, Darren must have felt how sad I was, or it's because he knows this is one of my favorite songs and I wasn't singing along. He held my hand and put our hands on my lap, he has an automatic car so we don't have a gearshift to rest on since the reverse is a button on the steering wheel. I didn't know they made cars like that but they do.

I give him a small smile and I look about the window.

"Mama, ooo ohh." I hear Darren sing along to queens bohemian rhapsody. I smile and quietly sing along. I know what he was just trying to get my mind off it and he is, and for that I am great full.

We get to the hospital and we get shown to aunt cherry's room. She's asleep and so is jake, he is on one of the seats next to the bed bent forwards and resting his elbows on his knees.
