I was walking through the busy city street, well when I say 'walking', I mean pushing past everyone. I was really pissed off and annoyed about the issue that happened at school. I can't believe Usui was kissing Misaki!! What happened to the whole 'I love you' thing he said to me?! It just doesn't make sense! I huff as the crowd thickens every step of the way until eventually I couldn't move. I squeeze past people, I go to the closest shop. And how unfortunate, I end up at Maid Latte. And in pretty sure Misaki works here....This is my chance to ask her some questions!!!! So once I take my seat I see Misaki heading towards me. "Hey Misaki! I'm ready to order!" She gives me a genuine smile as bright as the sun. "So Misaki, why so cheery?" I raise a brow, waiting for her response. She places one menu on my table and looks straight into my eyes with her beaming ones. "Oh, well today has just been great! I had one of those days where everything goes perfectly, you know?" She says chirpily. I fake a smile and order a milkshake.
A few minutes later she comes back with my order and I invite her to sit with me, she gladly takes a seat. I trace my finger along the brim of the cup. "Misaki. I want to know what made you so happy today? The one thing that changed your day." Her eyes lose the spark of joy, she looks away. She gulps and says, "Um...Well...I can't tell you! It's a secret!" She brings her index finger up to her lips and makes a'Shh' sound. I glare at her. "Come on! We're like, Best Friends! You shouldn't hide things from me." I impatiently tap my finger against the table. She watches me do that for several minutes until I can't take the silence anymore. "Well there's no point lying to me cuz I already know! You kissed Usui, didn't you?!" I raise my voice, getting frustrated. Her eyes widen and she looks around the Café. "Shhh (Y/n). Don't need to make a scene." She says nervously. I slam my hands against the table and stand up. "No! I want to make a scene! You kissed Usui! Don't lie!" I feel people draw their attention to us, mostly me. "I um...Ok fine. I'll confess, I did kiss Usui. Why does it matter to you?" Why does it matter to me? Is it that big of a deal? I lower back down to my chair. "Because...because..."
"Well I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I have a crush on Usui and the moment seemed right, so I just leaned in." I stare at her, thoughts running through my head. Why didn't she tell me sooner? Why didn't he reject her? Do I like him? Do I love him? If I'm making such a big deal about Usui then... "Misaki... I've had a crush on him longer than you have. Sorry to tell you that right now." She jerks up from her seat. "What?!? You serious?!" She yells. I nod and grab my handbag. "Yes Misaki, so you better watch out. Usui doesn't belong to you, so back off." I wink at her and leave the Café.
As I exit the elevator I see Usui standing outside my apartment door. "Usui? What are y-" before I could finish my sentence he talks over me. "(Y/n). I don't know what I did to hurt you but...I'm sorry, I hope that you'll forgive me." He goes to pull me into a hug but I play my hand on his chest, stopping him. He gives me me a confused look. "Do you like Misaki?" I look up at him, hoping he says no. He sighs. "Is this about Misaki kissing me?" I hesitate before I nod. He pats my head and I gaze up at him. "Your such a silly girl! That didn't mean anything, she just came up to me and kissed me. I wanted to stop but she held onto me, i didn't even enjoy it." What a relief. I huff. "Thank god! I was getting really worried that you liked her." He raises a eyebrow and smirks. "So... Does that mean you like me?"
"N-no! Don't be silly! Where did you get that from?!" I blow off his statement. The weight on my shoulders was finally lifted, I unlock my door. But before I walk in, Usui hugs me from behind. "Ok, but someday. I'll make you fall for me." He whispers in my ear. Well Usui, I've already fallen for you.
