Chapter 14

I feel Usui's soft breathes against my neck. I hum and lean back against his chest. His arms were wrapped around my waist, I wiggled a bit and he pulls me tighter. I softly giggle and pry opening my eyes, looking at the light trying to make its way into my room from the cracks in the curtain. I turn my head to look at the sleepy Usui, his hair fell over his eyes and and his mouth was slightly open. He looked so cute! I roll over and face him, he stirred in his sleep. I lightly kiss his nose and he opens one of his eyes. "Morning." I smile sweetly and he smiles too. "Morning." He says huskily. I nuzzle my head against the crook of his neck. He trails his hand up and down back and a muffled moan escapes my lips. He chuckles and I nibble on his neck, receiving a moan from Usui. I giggle and look up at him, his face flushed pink. I move my hand up to his cheek and lean closer, brushing my lips against his, teasing him. He growls and slams his lips into mine. I smirk and run my hands through his blonde hair. We break apart for air, I grin. "Usui, we have school." I state and try to wiggle out of his grasp, he lets me loose and I sit up.

We got ready for school and Usui made us eggs and bacon for breakfast. Yum! We exit my apartment and head to school. We walk hand in hand. The cool summer breeze blew softly, it's felt refreshing. I sighed as we walked in the sunshine, it's warmth making me feel relaxed. I looked at our hands intertwined and smiled. I hope we can be like this all the time. I squeeze his hand and giggle. Usui chuckles and I notice we're at the school gate. I loosen my hand but Usui holds it tighter, he gazes into my orbs. I look into his eyes and see that he isn't embarrassed at all. The smile on my face could be visible to everyone around us. I intertwined our hands and proceeded to enter the school grounds.

I feel people's gaze burning into my skin. I try not to squirm but it's hard when everyone in class is staring at you. Luckily the lunch bell hand just rung so I was free from this torture, for now. As I walked down the hall I saw Misaki approach me, she was grinning like the Chesire cat. I gulp and she stops in front of me, I look at her. "Is there something you needed?" I ask blankly. She grabbed my hair and jerks my head upwards, I wince and glare at the smug look on her face. "No, I just wanted to say hi. Oh actually while I'm here, there's something I want to give you." She smirks and let's go of my hair, she puts her hand into her pocket and pulls out a note. "It's from Usui, he said he couldn't give it to you personally so he asked me to deliver it to you." She remarked. I grab it out of her hand. "What does it say?" She rolls her eyes and scoffs. "I don't know, what about you read it and find out." And with that she pushes past me and walks down the hall. I open the note and I stare in shock.

I'm so sorry. I couldn't say this in person because I knew it would make things harder but......... I don't love you, I didn't know what I was thinking... I was dumb to think I could love someone like you, it's just not gonna work. And over the past couple of days I've thought about it, we're just not meant to be. I just feel like I should of told this sooner but I didn't want to hurt your feelings. Anyway, once again I'm sorry, I hope you will forgive me...
- Usui.

W-what?..... I stare down at the note and bring my hand to my mouth. This can't be. What about all the things he's said, how he said he loved me. It was all a lie? I drop the note and run down the hall, tears streaming down my face.
