"I don't even want to look at your lying face any longer!" Ridley yelled, while packing her clothes in a travel bag. "Mariposa, I don't understand why you're getting so worked up over this. I mean-" "Just shut up okay? Just shut up! I'm sick of the lies Pierce, you had me stay awake and you didn't come home." She snapped at me before I could finish my sentence.

She followed after me as I walked out of the room and continued to yell. "You're not playing your part Pierce, you impregnated me and I'm the one that has to sit and watch my stomach grow for five more months and you're not even embracing it."

Turning around I yelled back. "Ridley, I work for fuck sakes or do you not need the money to live in this house? The house I bought to provide space for the twins." Her eyes welled up with tears while I continued to yell. "If you want to Ridley, then go, but don't get to thinking that I won't follow you." "I don't want you to follow me Pierce, you can do all of this for yourself. My daughters and I don't need you."

I crossed my arms over my chest while she walked away. Moments later she'd walked out of the room with her travel bag rolling behind her. "Ridley, you're being fucking childish, why don't I run you a bath, you can calm down while I unpack your bags?"

She turned to face me. "I'll be at Carmina and Creedens if you have the courage to suck up to me in a better way-" "Ridley, you can't go there today. Just stay home baby please." "Pierce, you cannot do this to me." She yelled and shut the door.

I wasted no time and called Creeden. "Pierce, what is it? Sergio and Jenniah are waiting for me I can't talk now." Fuck fuck fuck, this is not going to turn out good. "Pierce, whats wrong man?" "Ridley, she's, she's on her way to you guys."

The line went dead. I couldn't reach any of them after that.  Ridley wouldn't answer my calls, Creeden obviously was too busy to and Carmina's was off.

I decided I'd go to the mall and get a few things that I hoped would get me back on Ridley's good side. My nerves were all over the place. I was afraid that Creeden couldn't get rid of either Sergio and Jenniah or Carmina and Ridley. It angered me to no end that I had no part to play in this because I screwed up the only job I had.

I'd strolled through the mall and stopped when one of the biggest teddy bears I've laid my eyes on caught my attention. "Well aren't you some eye candy?" The curly haired, brown eyed cashier said in a singing voice. "Yeah, uh thanks. How much for the huge white teddy bear?" I asked as I shuffled on my feet. "Oh, honey. That's not for sale."

The girl leaned forward, bursting the bubble she'd blown from her gum against my lips. "I can see that there is a price tag hanging Petronella." I said reading her name from the name tag. "Oh, I thought you were talking about me." She whispered.

I had no intention to hold back my laugh. "You're far from huge, you could never be white, you're definitely not a stuffed teddy bear and my girlfriend wouldn't appreciate you as a gift." I said in annoyance. "The bear is R2590." She curtly responded.

I knew she was doing that just so that I wouldn't buy it but I still didn't hesitate to take the exact amount out of my wallet. Her eyes grew big and she quickly took the teddy bear from the shelf and grabbed the money. "Thank you."

My phone rang as I walked into the jewellery store. "Hello." "Pierce, it's Creeden, the girls are at the mall. No need to work yourself up. They're safe. I have to go." Creedens voice echoed through the speakers and as quickly as he'd spoken the dial tone replaced it.

I searched for the perfect set of jewellery for Ridley, I'd struggled quite a few minutes before a jeweler suspected something. "Have you found anything you might like?"
