GRADUATION
LIV.
"I cannot believe you guys get to go to London," Leah said, in shock.
"I can't believe it either," Piper squealed. "We leave in 2 days!"
"I know, graduation is tomorrow. We're going to graduate, guys. That's crazy." I anxiously pulled on the ends of my hair, the thought of the future a bit terrifying.
"What's crazy is you guys going to London. Without me." Leah said forlornly. "I mean, One Direction is from there. You could meet them. And you could meet Harry," she added dreamily.
Harry was Leah's absolute favorite from One Direction. She was in love with him. I personally thought his hair was way too long and didn't see whatever she saw in him.
"That's what I said!" Piper exclaimed. "I told you, Liv, we could meet them."
I just laughed at both of them. "I can't believe how ridiculous you guys are being. Keep on dreaming."
Piper rolled her eyes at me in irritation.
"I gotta go get ready. See you tomorrow, loves," I said, practicing my British accent.
"You'll never sound as good as Louis!" Piper giggled as I walked to my car.
Once I got home, I went up to my room and skipped upstairs to the attic to find my suitcase. I skimmed my eyes over all the old clothes, Christmas decorations, and junk until they landed on my bright red suitcase. I grabbed it and walked back into my room.
I proceeded to look through my closet to find some suitable clothes to bring, and finally - after a few hours - I looked over my suitcase, feeling satisfied with myself. Skyler came into my room and saw me packing. "Good, you're getting ready to leave," she smirked.
"Jealously shows," I told her. "Don't miss me too much."
"As if," Skyler laughed. "I get full use of your room while you're gone."
"I'm only going for a week," I reminded her.
"And it'll be a week of heaven," she told me.
"What'll be a week of heaven?" Reagan asked as she walked into my room.
"The week Olivia's in London," Skyler replied.
"This means I can play my One Direction music as loud as I want while she's gone!" Reagan shouted, making no attempt to hide her glee.
"Hello? Still here."
"You won't be soon," Skyler laughed.

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile on my face. This was it. The day we all graduate.
I hopped out of bed and got in the shower.
After drying my hair and doing my makeup, I picked out my graduation clothes. I walked out and went down into the kitchen.
"Mom?" I called. "Dad? Are you guys ready?"
Instead of my parents, Skyler walked in. She looked me over. "Wow, you actually look somewhat decent for once," she said approvingly.
"Gee, thanks," I told her as I rolled my eyes. Both my parents, Reagan, and Mia came in.
"Let's go people!" I commanded. "We have a graduation to attend!"

Once at the building downtown, I ran inside and looked for Piper and Leah.
I saw them standing near a photo wall of all the graduating seniors. I walked as quickly as I could in my heels.
"Hi guys!" I said cheerfully. I saw two guys admiring them from a few feet away.
"Hey, look over there. Somebody's got an admirer," I smirked.
Leah and Piper turned around to look at the two guys and caught them staring. The two dudes saw they were found out and started turning bright red. I laughed. "You guys should go talk to them."
My two friends looked at me in surprise. "Yeah, no," Piper said. "They hold nothing to Louis."
"True. No one could possibly beat Harry," Leah agreed.
"Wow, what heart breakers," I giggled.
They just rolled their eyes. "Let's go get our caps and robes!" I said as I grabbed their hands and dragged them towards the other side of the room. We put on our graduation caps and robes and walked over to where all the other seniors were.
"Here we go," I told Leah and Piper as we walked out onto the stage with the rest of our graduating class.
