LIV.

Two months later.

I gloomily gazed around my dorm room, sighing. Piper and I, luckily, were roommates. I honestly don't know how'd I'd survive college without her.

Piper opened the door, sweat on her brow. "It's like 100 degrees out there! And I had to walk here from the farthest building," she groaned. "I hate having Child Services over there."

I lazily checked my phone. "Pipe, it's actually only 98 degrees."

Here at Central Florida University, Orlando, Florida, it was a little more hot and humid than in Oregon. We were still adjusting to the change in weather.

"I have a love hate relationship with Florida right now. I'm hating the heat right now because I don't have ice cream, but I love it here because I love this school and well, Disneyworld, duh."

I chuckled and shook my head in amusement. Piper's had a very strong love for Disneyworld for as long as I can remember. She's determined to get a job there this year and be a Disney princess. Personally, I think she'd make a fabulous Belle or Snow White.

"Okay princess, look in the freezer."

She raised an eyebrow and walked over to our mini fridge, opening the top door. Her brown eyes lit up when she saw the tub of ice cream.

"Tillamook Mudslide!" she squealed and gazed at it lovingly. "I knew you loved me!"

She grabbed two spoons and grinned. "You want some?"

I shook my head. "Nah, I'm okay."

Her smile faded and she frowned. "Liv, if you miss him that much, why don't you call him? Or even shoot him a text?"

I jerked my head up and looked at her like she was insane. "No, I'm not going to call him. And I don't miss him. I'm fine."

Piper looked at me skeptically. "Ever since we came back from London, you've been closed off to everyone. All you do is put in your headphones and drown everything and everyone else out." Her voice softened. "Liv, you'll have to talk to him at some point."

"He won't believe me," I said quietly. "He didn't believe me then, and he won't now. I doubt he even wants to speak to me."

She sighed and shook her head. "I can guarantee he misses you just as much as you miss him. Besides, I'm sure he knows the real story by now."

"If he did, wouldn't he of tried calling or texting by now?"

"He's probably too chicken to do it, just like you." she groaned. "Ugh, you two are perfect for each other."

"It happened two months ago. If he hasn't made any effort over two months, it's clear he's not going to at all. Besides, I'm completely over him now."

She looked at me in disbelief. "You're a horrible liar. I can tell when you're not telling the truth, Liv."

"How's Louis doing?" I asked, hoping to change the subject. Luckily for me, it worked.

She sighed and flopped down on her bed. "I miss him so much. We haven't FaceTimed or Skyped in a few weeks because he's in Cabo, so he doesn't have cell service or Internet."
