LIV.

My phone dinged with a text. I opened the message to see it was from Harry. It read:
"Hey baby, meet me at the London Eye? Let's say, 3:00?😏😘"

Smiling I replied:
"See you there ❤️"

It was only 2:00. Deciding to arrive there a little bit early, I quickly stood to get dressed. I pulled on my dark wash jeans, a flowy navy blue top, dressy sandals, and topped it off with my sunglasses. My hair was straight and rested on my shoulders.

Piper was gone, as she and Louis were off hanging out somewhere. She repeatedly told me they were just hanging out as friends, but I insisted to her that it was a date. She had just shaken her head at me in disbelief and amusement.

Smiling to myself, I walked down and onto the street, where I called a cab. "The London Eye, please," I told the driver. He nodded and drove away from my hotel. A few minutes later, we pulled up and I paid and thanked the driver and stepped out of the cab.

I looked up in awe at the massive Ferris wheel. It towered over its surroundings and gleamed in the sunlight. I saw many happy couples coming in and out of the pods of the London Eye, giggling, kissing and smiling. The London Eye was so large that there were not mere seats but large pods that had glass walls so the people inside could overlook the whole city. Multiple people could fit into one pod.

Suddenly, I noticed something peculiar. In one of the pods coming down, there appeared to be only two people inside. Usually, there were 5-10 people inside one. Curious, I kept my eyes on the pod until it reached the bottom, where the ride ended.

The glass door opened to reveal Harry walking out with his arm around a blonde's waist. He smiled and pulled her closer, kissing her multiple times. My heart tightened painfully as I watched him and the way he flirted with her, kissing her again.

Hot, angry, tears formed in the corner of my eyes, threatening to spill over. I couldn't seem to move and stood motionless; Harry suddenly looked up to see me, causing him to stop in his tracks in shock.

I spun on my heels and walked towards the street, wanting to get as far away from him as possible. Raising my hand in the air, I signaled for a cab, and gratefully hopped in once one drove up.  I will not cry, I will not cry, I will not cry, I repeated to myself as I sat in the backseat. Taking one last glance behind me, I looked out the window to see Harry staring after the cab before walking back to the blonde. I willed myself to hold my tears back as we drove farther and farther away from the London Eye.

I barely noted the driver pulling up to my hotel as I shoved a twenty dollar bill in his hand, not caring about the change. As I entered my hotel room and shut the door, I let out a shuddering breath. That's when the sobs broke through. Tears streamed my cheeks, and my chest heaved up and down as I cried. I grabbed at my phone and dialed Piper. I needed my best friend.

Louis and I sat on a bench, licking our ice cream cones. We had been walking around all day and decided to take a break by getting some ice cream. He was my ideal guy, honestly. He always made me laugh and treated me like a princess, even though we weren't dating. I would never tell him how I feel though. He's Louis Tomlinson, it would never happen between us.

"So, Piper," Louis said suddenly. "How are you liking it here?"

"I really like it. Some things I like more than others," I blushed, realizing what I'd said aloud.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" he smirked.

"You know, the friendly people, and stuff," I mumbled, trying to stay vague.

"Like who?" he asked,  pushing for more of an answer.

"Okay," I hesitated. "Well, you. You've been really nice to me while
I'm here, and I'm happy when I'm around you."

A surprised but pleased expression came over his face. "You make me happy too."

I blushed and smiled, feeling my stomach flutter. "Thanks."

We finished our ice cream and started walking again. To my surprise, Louis casually grabbed my hand and held it, his fingers intertwining with mine. The butterflies in my stomach grew even more, and I looked up at him with another smile.

"Piper," he started nervously. "I need to tell you something. I really-"

Louis was cut off as my phone started ringing loudly. I jumped, the noise startling me.
"You and me, got a whole lot of history, we could be the greatest thing, that the world has ever seen.."
Cheeks flushing, I realized that my ringer was History by, of course, One Direction.

"History? You like that song?" Louis asked, his eyebrows raised in an amused smile.

"Oh, shut up, Tomlinson," I laughed.

"Hello?" I asked as I answered the phone, still laughing. My happiness disappeared instantly when I heard the sobs coming from the other end.

"Olivia? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I said worriedly.

Louis quickly glanced over at me, concern furrowing his brow.

"Harry... Another girl... Kissing..." she managed to say through her crying.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"...Hotel," she said, barely audible.

"Stay right there. I'm coming, okay?" I told her reassuringly.

"...okay."

I hung up and looked over at Louis apologetically. "I'm really sorry, but I need to go back to the hotel. Liv needs me."

"What happened? Is she okay?" he asked, a worried look on his face. Aw, he was so adorable when he was worried.

"I don't know exactly, she said something about Harry kissing another girl. It didn't sound good."

He nodded knowingly, and we walked back towards the hotel together. He didn't once let go of my hand.

Also, I just wanted to make clear that when I'm starting new chapters, the POV will always be Olivia unless labeled otherwise.
