Chapter 2
Minami’s face got serious, “I’ll help you become more of a regular person and in exchange; be my boyfriend till graduation. You want to know how it feels like to be a normal person right, well I’ll fulfill that wish for you for an exchange for that.”
“What?” Ryusei’s face got shocked.
"That's right; an offer from me to you," Minami said.
Ryusei thought for a moment and finally accept the request, "I guess I got no choice but to say yes. Now where can I begin?"
"Let's start off start going out next week because you just came and I don't want to make people think that we just started already," Minami said.
Ryusei sighed, "I guess that's fine. We will start next week."
School ended and just walked home together.
“Here,” Minami said.
“Huh, what do I do with your hand?”
“Ugh, obviously hold it.”
“Oh okay.”
“How does this help me be normal?” Ryusei asked.
“Wow, you still don’t know? I want to show you my love. It’s not every day you pretend to go out a famous person,” Minami said.
“You’re right,” Ryusei said laughing.
“Hey, why don’t you come over to my house, we will play games and fool around and…”
“Woh, Woh, I get it, I’ll go, but can we start homework first?”
“Sure, homework is important.”
<Minami’s house>
“You want more tea?” Minami asked.
"Nah, no thanks, but I appreciate it anyway.”
“Oh okay.”
“Do you usually stay home alone?”
~Silence~
Ryusei broke the silence, “Minami-chan?”
~Silence again~
“Yea, my dad is a drunken addict and comes home late acting drunk of course, and well my mom…” Tears fell down her cheeks.
“Sorry, it was a rude question to ask, but its okay. I’m sure your mom thinks you did the right thing, helping others right? Just like you’re helping me,” Ryusei said in a smile.
Minami smiled, “Yea.” Minami wiped her tears away.
There was a short silence then Ryusei and Minami laughed out loud.
“Okay why don’t we take a rest? You are really good at this, are you sure you need help to become a normal person… well a middle class person?”
“Of course I do. I want to know how they act and how nice they are.”
“Whatever, but it’s getting late so why don’t we end the day and get some rest for school tomorrow?” Minami asked. “Oh and can you come to pick me up in the morning?”
“Uh okay, good night and see you tomorrow,” Ryusei said.
“Bye bye, and sweet dream to you; love you,” Minami said.
Ryusei blushed and walked home.
