Minami was home crying in her bed and her dad was wondering what was going on and he was thinking about that boy who stopped in front of the house. (I bet it was “him” that made my precious daughter cried. If I see him ever again, I’m going to beat the crap out of him.) He thought.
The doorbell rang and the father went to answer the door.
“Oh um, hello again, seems like you’re not drunk anymore.”
“You, why did you make my little girl cry, huh?! She is very delicate, but she is brave and strong at times. What have you done to her? What made her cry? It was you, weren’t it?! Come one, answer me!”
“Dad… calm down… it wasn’t his fault… it was me who made a careless mistake,” Minami cried.
“Wait a second…” Minami’s dad stared at him for about 2 minutes… “Ah! You are that guy in Minami’s posters… Ryusei Ruka! That’s right! You’re him! Oh my god, I love your music, although my daughter doesn’t know… I went to check on her room if she had my rock CDs, but I accidently took one of your albums… I fell in love with your voice!”
“Oh wow, glad to hear,” Ryusei smiled.
“Oh, please come in, come in.”
Ryusei visited Minami’s house… “So what are you doing here? How do you know my Minami? Are you guys going out? What do you have business with her? What….”
“Dad, stop it already!” Minami blushed.
Ryusei was in an awkward moment right now, “Well, I’m here to ask Minami a question, and I knew Minami from school. I kind of transferred to know how an average kid is like. Minami went to help me; she is a student president of course…” Ryusei then starred at Minami and then she nodded.
“The question you asked ‘Are you guys going out?’ is um, half and half.”
“Half and half; what do you mean by that?”
“Minami said she would help me, and in exchange I’d be her ‘boyfriend’.”
"What, Minami are you crazy?!”
“That’s why it’s her fault. But I came over to apologize to her to get to all this trouble to help me and I have to be her ‘fake’ boyfriend till graduation…”
“Oh, that right Minami… Graduation is coming.”
“Who cares, you didn’t come to any of my graduations…”
“Nope, this time is different. It’s not like every day you see an idol graduate up close.”
“That’s it? That’s your reason you’re coming? It’s like you came for him, not me…”
“But I’m here for you too. I am your father after all.”
“Um, I feel like I’m left out…”
“Oh, well if you’re her ‘boyfriend’, I don’t mind if you are her real one,” Minami’s father grinned widely.
“What are you talking about?!” Both Minami and Ryusei yelled.
“Well Minami, I’m sorry for the trouble I caused. If you don’t want to see me, then okay, I won’t see you either. Until graduation, I’ll see you there.”
Six days has passed and Ryusei and Minami weren’t seeing each other.
“Minami, you’re not going to help Ryusei out?” One of her friend said.
“No, I want to take a break…”
“What, but you’re a fan of him… or unless something happened…”
