At school, Minami never faced Ryusei even once. She doesn’t want to help Ryusei anymore, but she can’t. It was a promise to him. After 3 days later, Minami came to apologize, “I’m sorry to what had happened last week, I really wasn’t thinking through am I?”
“It wasn’t your fault, I still had fun anyway,” Ryusei said in a smile.
“Are you sure? I think I was using you than helping you.”
“It’s okay, I know you did this accidently, just do your job to make me experience being a normal kid. I’m going out with you for now, so since I’m making a music video later, why don’t you come along with me? You’re going to be the first one out of the fans to watch. Plus, I know I’m going to have a concert sooner or later, I want you to have a backstage pass.”
“Oh wow, thank you,” Minami cried with joy and hugged him.
“No big deal,” he said while blushing.
(Saturday in the Music Studio)
“Waa- so pretty,” Minami said as Ryusei smiled.
“What kind of concept is this song?”
“It is about happiness that you can find in your heart.”
“Oh wow, I can’t wait to hear it. I can feel that this song is very jumpy.”
Ryusei laughed and the manager walked up to them.
“Good morning Ryusei.”
“Good morning to you too… ah, this is Minami. Is it ok if she can watch me?”
“Hello Minami, of course you can stay and watch. Ryusei, come over here.”
They both left Minami and walk away far from her.
“Who is she, a fan? You know that fans can’t come in here, but this time I’ll let this go. What is that you invited her here?”
“Her? She is a fan, but not like any other fan there is.”
“Oh really, what is it exactly?”
“She helps me with school work and she is helping me feel how it’s like to be an ordinary person.”
“Okay then, I thought she is one of those fans who desperately want to watch you.”
Ryusei laughed, “No, I know I can’t do that. If I do, then I might get fired, and I like this job, I want to make people smile and see them smile.”
“Okay good, at least you still know what you’re doing.”
“Don’t worry; I can take care of myself. You trusted me so much now, how can you back me down now?”
The manager laughed, “That is true, okay then she can come, but no one else ok?”
Ryusei laughed as well, “Yeah, I know.”
Minami was confused, “Guys, what’s going on?”
“Ah, nothing, let’s start now shall we?” Ryusei said.
The music video making has started and the camera was rolling. Ryusei messed up a bit and Minami smiled and laughed. During lunch though…
“Sorry Ryusei, the chef can’t cook, he has a cold. Do you know how to cook?” One of the staffs said.
“Oh, but I don’t know… sorry. Can you cook, you’re older than me.”
“I sort of, but I’m still learning.”
Minami had no choice. She quietly went to the kitchen and cooked something. While everyone was hungry, they smelled something really appetizing.
“Hey everyone, I made a feast.” Minami said as she handed out the food and smiled.
Everyone was surprised and was thankful that Ryusei brought her in for the video shoot. Everyone tasted it and said it was really delicious.
“Ryusei, I want only Minami to be your girlfriend. Is that okay? This cooking is great and you can eat it all the time,” the manager said.
“Manager, you know I’m too young for that sort of thing,” Ryusei said.
“I know, but if you do, please!”
Minami blushed and step out for a bit for fresh air.
In the studio Ryusei looked around, “Huh, where is Minami, she was just here.”
“Oh she went outside doing something. I don’t know what she was about to do, but she was near the river,” A worker said when she was coming in.
“River, don’t tell me she is committing suicide. She did nothing wrong. About 5 people ran outside, “Minami, stop, you’re going to get yourself killed!”
“Minami!” Ryusei yelled looking worried.
Minami calms down by singing and she started to sing a lovely melody. Everybody gathered and thought it was soothing. Once she was done, she jump down and slipped from a puddle left on the concrete floor. She fell backwards and Ryusei ran after her. Ryusei thought he didn’t make it. He didn’t make it, although Minami wasn’t hurt, she is a back flip. Everybody was shocked.
“Prefect!” She looked around and said, “Oh my bad, you thought I was going to fall? I take gymnastics class, so I know how to handle myself.”
“We thought you will commit suicide,” the manager said.
“What, this is what I usually do to calm down, find a refreshing place to be in and sing till I feel better,” Minami said.
“Oh, then why don’t you come back inside and rest.”
“Sure.”
