Love Like Magic// Chapter 10

I was sitting on the window ledge, thinking. My life is messed up. There is so much drama I don't need in my life. I hate Stephen, with a passion. I despised him. He doesn't deserve the world, and he should pay for that. I heard voices from outside.

"This is insane, do you know what could happen to us? Uncle told us that if we screwed up one more time, we were gone."

"Do you think I care about that now Derek? I don't. All I want is the three of them gone, for good. We'll do it at their quidditch practice today."

Those voices were familiar, too familiar. They were voices I didn't want to hear. It was Stephen. I snuck over and hid behind the wall.

"Shh. Did you hear that?" Stephen said. I stood completely still, with my back to the wall. I closed my eyes. Tears were on the bridge of sneaking out, just thinking of what he could do if he found me. His wand poked out from behind the wall. I then felt a tug on my hair as I was whipped out from behind the wall.

"You think you can hide from me that easily?" he said with a smirk. "Please Stephen, just leave me alone." He held onto me tighter. He flew out the window, dragging me with him. He threw me on the ground. He walked closer as I tried to back up. He pointed his wand at me. The tears were pouring from my eyes. "Stephen, what do you want?"

He gave me a smirk and inched forward. "I want many things. I want you gone, your friends and family gone, that pathetic brother of yours go-"

"Don't you dare say anything about him. He's got more courage than you will ever have." He looked over at the school. There was a loud scream as the lights in the school all went out. Stephen bent down, placing his lips right against my ear. "I'd start running, m'lady."

I froze. No he didn't. He was going to hurt Oliver. I sprinted to the school, running as fast as my legs could carry. Students were being rushed out of the school, staff was marking the students there, everyone had worried expressions. I ran to Professor McGonagall. "Professor, did you mark off Oliver?" "No I haven't seen him." I ran into the school, whipping my wand or of my pocket.

"Oliver? Oliver!?!" I ran thought the halls, searching frantically. "Don't you dare touch her!" The voice was in pain. And to my luck, it was that thick Scottish accent. I ran up the stairs. I saw Stephen standing there with his friends, holding Oliver back. Oliver looked up and saw me. "Violet, run!" he said, trying to get out of his captor's arms. I backed up a bit. "No, please, stay and watch." His friends came and grabbed me. "Hey, let me go!" Stephen just smirked as he brought his wand up. "Enjoy the show."

So that was chapter 10. Whole lotta drama. And I know that there aren't many Violet and Oliver cute couple moments, but I'll try to put one in there. I need a ship name for Vi and Oliver.
