Daylight peered in through the window, making me squint. I yawned and rubbed my eyes, not recognizing my surroundings. I looked around, and to the right of me, I saw Caspar. He was snoring softly and his arm was wrapped loosely around my waist. I bit my lip and sat up quietly, running my fingers through my hair. I had only just met him!

I put the blanket back on him and stumbled down to Joe's room. He was passed out and snoring like a pig. I quietly took out a pair of grey joggers and a hoodie and changed into them, putting my pile of clothes into a laundry hamper in my bathroom. I hurried back upstairs, wrapping my hair up in a bun atop my head. I glanced back at Caspar and sighed.

I pulled my laptop out of my backpack and started searching online for a bed frame and other furniture for my room. I had chosen a few different pieces and paid for them with the little money I had set aside. The furniture would arrive tomorrow. After that, I took out my phone and texted Zoe.

[Hey can you drop my suitcases over here? I don't have any clothes for the next few days and i don't have any money to go shopping atm.]

[Yea! But I think I would have to drop off a bit later. That Okay?]

[yep. thx Zoe!]

I got up and started pulling out ingredients to make pancakes. It was about 11 am, so hopefully, Caspar would wake soon. Joe was hammered last night and probably won't get out of bed for the next day. I made the pancake batter and pulled out a skillet, and turned the heat up on the oven. I started cooking the pancakes when I heard Caspar start to stir. I glanced at him. His hair was tousled and his shirt was wrinkled from his sleep.

"Hey, Marley!" He looked at me with tired but bright blue eyes. I smiled.

"How're you?" I laughed as he rubbed his eyes and stumbled over to the breakfast bar. I served him the fresh and hot pancakes with a cup of syrup on the side.

"Good. How'd you sleep?" Caspar asked as he stuffed his face with pancakes. He looked up at me tentatively, hoping that I enjoyed being near him last night.

"I slept great," I said, smirking at him and pouring myself a glass of water. "You?" I followed up with another question. Caspar thought a moment.

"Terribly. You hogged the blanket." He said with all seriousness. I felt my face grew hot and I looked away. "I'm kidding, Marley! I slept better than I have in weeks!" He laughed and my face grew even redder with embarrassment.

"Oh," I laughed and started brewing coffee. I sat down across from him, giving him a playful glare. He laughed and walked around me, putting his dish in the sink for Joe to clean later today. He then flopped down on the couch and stared at me. "What?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. He smiled.

"Are those Joe's sweatpants?" Caspar laughed and pointed to my pants.

"Oh, shut up! I don't have any of my clothes here!" I retorted, laughing and joining him on the couch. Caspar laid one arm over the side of the couch.

"Well, I must say, it suits you. In a very dark and mysterious way, but it does." He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, looking me up and down. I raised my eyebrows at him and leaned back on the side of the couch.

"Do you think that tomorrow you could help me set up my bed frame and stuff for my room? I ordered them earlier this morning so they should get here tomorrow afternoon at the latest." I asked, brushing my hair over my shoulder.

"Yeah, probably. I have to film with Oli tomorrow morning but after that, I should be free. How early did you get up?" He asked, running a hand through his messy hair and yawning. I thought. I had texted Zoe about half an hour after I got up and that was at 11, so around 10:30.
