Have you ever stopped yourself, maybe in a quiet room on a rainy day, and really thought about how the world works around you? Just, in the silence of the room, only the pitter-patter of the gentle rain on the ceiling above, and thought about everything that has played out in your life? Or sat down and really appreciated everything and everyone who has ever come and gone and surrounds you still today with open arms and hearts?
I strongly believe it is important to really think about this stuff. Have you ever really told your friend how much you love them and how glad, no- how elated you are that they have stuck around with you?
I want you to take a minute, when you have the time, and just think. Leave yourself to your thoughts. Don't touch your phone, laptop, iPod- nothing. Really, think about everything. Whether it be the quiet, maybe some things I listed above. Take a moment to thank whoever gave you a life worth living, and cherish it for all that it is. It could be over in seconds. Tell me, would you be happy to leave this world, your friends' conversations unfinished, would you be alright to leave with every mark you've left? Would you be happy with the way you would leave everything behind?
Now I'm rambling. I know, Piper stop. But in all honesty, I feel it is necessary to sit down and sort things out. Maybe find fond memories in a drawer you haven't seen open since you closed it. Love the life that was given to you no matter what is put in front of you. You are here for a damn reason, and you are also here to make that reason known.
