The next day, Mackenzie, Steve, and Bucky were up later than planned. They were to take down a few HYDRA agents in the nearest town, which happened to be three hours away. It was noon when Mackenzie actually woke up and decided to get to work and by three, they were in the town.

Mackenzie wore a pair of leggings, a gray cropped sweater, and a leatherjacket. On her feet were black boots with a knife in one and a taser in the other.

The three were currently out in Mackenzie's vehicle, spying on the three agents in a tiny café in the town.

"I wanna go play with them." Mackenzie told Steve, leaning up between the passenger and driver's seat.

"No way, Kenzie." Bucky shook his head as he glanced back at the female.

"Buck, they don't know she's helping you. You're kind of a dead giveaway if they saw you." Steve looked over to his best friend.

"I promise I'll be okay." Kenzie kissed his lips briefly and patted Steve's shoulder before she got out of the car.

She walked into the café and chuckled to herself. The Super Soldier didn't realize she had taken his wallet.

Mackenzie ordered herself a hot chocolate using Steve's money and then took a seat at the booth facing the HYDRA agents.

She gave the one looking at her a flirty smile and then pulled her phone out.

"I don't feel comfortable leaving her in there alone." Bucky said to himself, watching with Steve through the windows.

"Ever seen Nat seduce a man?" Steve asked, glancing to his friend. Bucky shook his head. "Well she can get any man to do whatever she says just by smiling and flirting. Kenzie's the same way."

Bucky felt something in his stomach, something he hadn't felt before. Was it jealousy? Because he didn't want Mackenzie to talk to any man other than him.

After flirting with the one agent with just her eyes and smile, she got him to move to her booth.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing alone in a rundown town like this?"

"I'm just passing through." Mackenzie replied, placing her phone on to the table. When the door near them to the café opened, a breeze blew in.

Mackenzie shivered and rubbed her hands together.

"You don't seem like the type for cold weather." The agent commented.

"I very much prefer the sun opposed to the snow." Mackenzie nodded. Her eyes lingered on the agent's, the deep emerald green captivated him.

"You've got really beautiful eyes. Don't think I've ever seen green eyes like your's. They natural?"

"Sure are." Mackenzie giggled, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. Her phone vibrated on the table and she picked it up to read the text from Natasha.

She bit her bottom lip and put her phone away.

"You wouldn't happen to know your way around town, would you?"

"Course I do." The agent nodded. "Why? You need help getting somewhere?"

"Yeah. I have this friend I met a while ago and she wants me to go to this bar down the street.... Could you take me?" Mackenzie asked with a hopeful, flirtatious voice.

"It would be my pleasure." The agent nodded and stood up.

As they left the diner, Steve caught Mackenzie's eye. He was confused as to what she was doing.
