Mackenzie went back to her apartment around one in the morning. Bucky was already there, but he was passed out on the couch.

Mackenzie put a light cover over him before she went to her room. She changed into a pair of short black shorts and a black sports bra before she went out to the kitchen.

"Kenzie?" Bucky walked into the kitchen behind her.

"Hey. I thought you were asleep." Mackenzie said.

"I was waiting for you. I want to just thank you for everything, finding me, going through the troubles of keeping a promise with Steve that could've gotten you killed, stepping in front of the gun when Natasha tried to shoot me, everything. Literally. You're a good person." Bucky smiled. He put his real hand on Mackenzie's neck and leaned down. When their lips met, Mackenzie was a little shocked but she still kissed him back.

"Do you always kiss people who help you?" Mackenzie asked with a smile as she broke the kiss.

"Only the pretty ones." Bucky chuckled.

"Well thank you. But I need to be going to bed." Mackenzie patted Bucky's shoulder before going to her room.

Mackenzie woke up around five, only four hours after she got home. She didn't need much sleep, so she got ready for work. She put on a pair of dark skinny jeans and a black tank top. She added her favorite leather jacket and a little bit of eyeliner and mascara before leaving for the base.

She went by Dunken Donuts and got a coffee for herself, Steve, and Bucky before going on to base. She slipped into Steve's office without being seen, and sat in his chair.

Mackenzie waited about three hours for Steve and Bucky to walk into Steve's office.

"Don't you sleep?" Steve asked, taking a coffee and handing it to Bucky before taking his own.

"I do. I only technically need ninety minutes of sleep." Mackenzie shrugged with a grin.

Bucky winked when Mackenzie looked to him. She smiled and rolled her eyes.

"And what's with you and my office? You have your own." Steve chuckled, walking to his desk beside her and looking in one of the drawers. While he wasn't paying attention to Mackenzie, she took his wallet again.

"I know. But in mine I do something called personal property damage. In your office, the worst I can do is steal your wallet. For a fourth time." Mackenzie sighed, looking through his wallet and taking ten bucks, shoving it in her pocket.

"Fourth time? I thought you only took it two times?" Steve sat in a chair beside Bucky.

"Three times, Steve." Mackenzie waved the wallet around before tossing it to him.

"I'm glad she ain't stealing anything of mine." Bucky chuckled.

"Just wait. I'll find something of your's I have fun with." Mackenzie giggled, and then thought of what she just said.

"That sounded so wrong through the door, Kenzie." Sam laughed as he walked into the room. Mackenzie laughed too with Bucky and Sam.

"Give me my ten dollars back, Mackenzie." Steve sighed.

"Hold on." Mackenzie stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth and started folding the ten dollar bill into a paper plane. She grinned as she threw it to Steve.

"Good. You're all here." Fury walked into the room with four files. He handed one to each agent and leaned against Steve's desk. "I need you four to go to India to calm down a mafia there. They've killed many people and they've taken many hostage. I want the group leader to be Mackenzie-"

"Whoa! Wait! She just stole my wallet for the third time, Nick!" Steve said.

"And I made a paper airplane out of his ten dollars." Mackenzie nodded.

"She's serious on her missions, Captain. You know she is." Fury patted Steve's shoulder as he started to leave. "And Romanoff and Barton are dropping you all of there." Once Fury closed the door, Steve stood up with Bucky and Sam.

"Come on, ladies." Mackenzie stood up. "I'm going back to my apartment to get my to go bag, I'll meet up with you guys on the runway in ten, okay?"

"Okay." Sam nodded and left.

"Hey. Take Sam's wallet next time." Steve chuckled.

"I planned on it." Mackenzie nodded, exhaling through her nose as she left the base with Bucky.

Steve, Sam, Bucky, and Mackenzie got on to the jet, which Natasha and Clint were driving. While the guys had their back to Mackenzie, she managed to steal all of their wallets, even Clint's. Mackenzie knew Natasha would've caught her if she tried to take her sister's wallet so she didn't even try.

Mackenzie took the wallets and sat in one of the chairs.

"Hmmm. Samuel Thomas Wilson, Steven G. Rogers, James Buchanan Barnes, and Clinton Francis Barton...." Mackenzie looked through Clint's wallet first.

"Thank you." Clint snatched his wallet from her and smacked the side of her head before going back to Natasha.

"Here." Mackenzie handed Bucky, Steve, and Sam back their wallets, each had at least ten dollars missing.

"I'm gonna have to chain my wallet to me." Steve chuckled.

As everyone talked and chatted, Bucky took Mackenzie's hand and led her away from the group, to the back of the jet.

"Are we going to pretend we didn't kiss last night?" Bucky asked.

"No, I just figured that until I'm sure that this is serious, we'd keep it a secret." Mackenzie shook her head.

"Good. I like you, Kenzie." Bucky smiled a little.

"And I love your wallet, Mr. Barnes." She slipped his wallet out of his pocket.

"Stealing my money already." Bucky chuckled, taking his wallet from her.
