Chapter 3: Broken Heart

--Louis' POV--

We were just chatting having a normal conversation and the phone rang. As she went to answer it I walked over to Niall to talk. That's when I heard the phone fall and I looked over. I ran up to her and caught her before she could fall and hurt herself. As I had her in my arms Niall rushed to the phone and picked it up.

"Hello? Sir. What's going on?" He asked.

"Zayn?!" He panicked.

"Is he..." he trailed off.

What the hell was happening?! I picked up Ally bridal style and set her gently on the couch. I went up to Niall and tapped him. He put one finger up telling me to wait. I started to pace back and forth. What did I know already? It was about Zayn, Ally must have not liked the news because she fainted, and Niall was in a panicked state. That was NOT good.

"Okay, where do we go?" Niall asked.

"Yes sir." He said before hanging up.

"Okay.. what the hell happened?!" I yelled at him.

"Okay. So Zayn was coming back home and he got into this collision with a car that ran a red light. The paramedics got there right away, the guy in the red car was unharmed, but Zayn...." he trailed off.

"Zayn what?! What happened to Zayn?!" I asked. I stopped looking to take a quick glance at Ally and Ryan.

"He... uh... he's in the hospital." Niall said.

"With what? A broken bone?" I asked.

"No, he's in the ICU area. Intensive Care Unit. He's real bad." Niall said.

"But..." I trailed off.

"They can't be sure if he lives or dies, but at the moment he is leaning towards health. The paramedic said to get there right away." Niall said, his voice shaky.

"Then what the hell are we standing around for?!" I said grabbing my jacket and tapping Harry's shoulder.

"What?" He asked.

"Let's go. Get Liam." I said.

"Already done." Niall said walking towards us with Liam

"What's going on?" Harry and Liam said in unison.

"We'll tell you in the car. Come on." I said.

"What about Ryan's party?" Liam said.

"Eleanor!" I called for her.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Make sure Ryan and Ally are okay. When Ally wakes up tell her everything is fine and we are picking up Zayn." I instructed.

"Zayn? What's happened to Zayn?" Liam asked.

"In the car." I whispered.

"Okay. Be careful." She said.

"Will do." I replied before jogging out the house towards my car.

"Uh Louis. I think someone else should drive. We don't need another accident." Niall said.

"Accident? Another? Zayn? What is happening?!" Liam said.

"Zayn got into this car accident. He's in the hospital in critical condition. We gotta go... now!" I yelled before hopping in the car.

"But Zayn is a smart driver." Harry said as we pulled away from the curb and drove towards the hospital.

"Yeah well the other guy wasn't." I replied.
