Chapter 4: Please, Please, Please

--Niall's POV--

**TWO WEEKS LATER**

Eventually Ally had to come, we just didn't know when. Eleanor said that Ally was a wreck and the only thing she really did was shower and cry in bed. Eleanor had taken Ryan to live with her because she knew Ally was upset and sad and depressed. Zayn didn't seem to be getting better or worse, he seemed... frozen. He seemed frozen in the very state he was in. Cold, basically lifeless, silent, and still. He was incredibly still, not even the movement of a toe, or the flicker of his eyes. The only time anything moved on his body was when Harry opened a window and Zayn's hair moved. That was all we got.

None of us have left his side. Not once. Well maybe to call someone, or talk to the nurses and doctors, or to go outside and get the clothes Dani would drop off for us. We even changed in his room. Weird, but it showed our loyalty to our mate.

"Niall. Catch." Harry said as he threw a pair of my jeans and a tee shirt. All of which Dani had just brought.

"Thanks." I replied.

"Hurry up the girls are outside." He said.

"Oh shit." I said as I raced to change clothes.

"Yeah. Ally is here." He said.

I stood still, almost as frozen as Zayn, my jeans just around my ankles, as I stared at him.

"Really?" I whispered.

"Mm hmm." He said.

"Is that smart?" I asked as I looked at the rest of the boys and then at Zayn. Lifeless Zayn. Still Zayn. Quiet Zayn. The wrong Zayn.

"Well he is her husband. They are married. It's only fair." Liam said.

"But do you want your sister seeing the love of her life lying there conpletely still. A different boy, an entirely different person?" I asked him. His eyes drooped and he looked at the floor.

"It's not my say so, but I don't want her here." Liam whispered.

"Neither do I. Do you think Zayn wants her here?" I asked.

"Why don't you ask him Niall?! Hmm! We don't know! We don't know how long he will be like this or how long we have him! So let her f*cking see him!" Louis snapped at me.

"Louis." Liam said.

"No dammit! Niall, we don't know what he wants but we know what she wants! She wants to see the boy she fell in love with, the boy she loves, the guy she married, and the father of her child! I know you are speaking out of kindness but just let it be!" He snapped again.

"Louis... please." Harry said.

"No Harry, I understand where he is coming from." I said as I pulled up my jeans that were still around my ankles.

"Hurry up lads. She wants to come in." Liam said.

"Okay." We said in unison.

After another minute of changing we heard a knock at the door and I went to get it.

"Come on in." I said.

--Zayn's POV--

I heard them arguing and that was the last thing I wanted. My mind had gone fuzzy again and I couldn't really comprehend what they were talking about. I wanted to tell them to shut up so I could think about my family, but I couldn't remember anything. I knew I had one though. Sisters, mother, and father.

"Come on in." I heard the Irish accent and knew it was Liam. No! Niall. My mind was really fuzzy.

"Thanks." A female voice said. Someone I couldn't recognize.
