A week had passed since I had last seen Robert alone. I had seen him at work a few times but nothing exciting happened or anything that could have been seen as direct flirting. We were getting off early today since they were just wanting to do a few scenes as they had more editing to do. I wasn't too bothered as I hoped today would be the day that the 'Avengers' were going out and I was allowed to tag along. I chuckled to myself at the thought that they had dubbed themselves 'Avengers'. It was far too adorable.

Janine finished up putting the makeup products into their rightful place and we left the trailor together. I linked her arm and we chatted about what we'd be doing over the next couple of nights when we had finished work. This was when I felt her grip on my arm tighten. "Alice, you might want to look up." I hadn't even realised that I was checking my phone for messages that I may have missed. I did as she said considering she sounded very spooked.

There just at the end of the yard was Robert, Chris, Chrissy H, Tom, Scarlett, Mark and Jeremy. I smiled as Robert made his way to me, his arms wrapped around my stomach and he picked me up, spinning me in a circle. "Little A where have you been?" I smacked his shoulder. "Are you taking the piss out of my height?" He just shrugged his head, "Janine, do you mind if I steal her?" She shook her head, "Not all Robert." She waved us off as Robert walked over to the rest of the group with me slung effortlessly over his shoulder.

"Whats going on Robert? Where are we headed?" He just plonked me down next to Jeremy who put his hand on my arm. I smiled up at him and said hello to everyone else. "I'll tell you now, since we are all here together. WE - by WE I mean everyone. Are going to go paintballing!" There was a loud chorus of whoops from the guys whereas me and Scarlett just groaned. "Hey, now listen, this isn't normal paintballing.. No guns and no hurty times. This is paintballing where you personally hunt down someone so you can throw balloons filled with paint off of them. Got it!"

We all nodded, not daring to argue with Mr Bossy Pants. He had hired a huge eight seater to take us there. Robert was driving, I had managed to call shotgun after wrestling Jeremy to the ground, even though I was sure he let me win. The rest all piled into the back, fighting over the seats and who was sitting where. "Now, Kids, we haven't even set off yet. Don't make me come back there!" Robert yelled, it was as if he actually was there father because as soon as he'd finished they had all sat still and not a peep was heard for the rest of the drive.

We had arrived in perfect silence, everyone ambled out. On entering the front door I noticed only the staff were present yet again. We had all got kitted out with jump suits and a sachel each. Every satchel held 15 balloons, we all had seperate colours. I chose Red, Robert had Blue, Scarlett was Pink, Jeremy had Green, Mark had purple, Chrissy H was yellow, Chris was black, and Tom had brown.

We all headed off out into the open field which had a lot of obsticles to hide around, blow up balls the size of buildings, ramps, an actual blow up castle. It all looked so good. We were told to start off in seperate location, the rules were 'there are no rules' we just had to keep playing until we had no balloons left. I hid behind what I could only describe as a palm tree. Then the speaker sounded and it was our que to go.

I stayed put, I didn't want to get out and give my place away, after all it was a very good hiding place. I saw everyone making mad dashes to other places trying to hit anyone and everyone, this was when I spotted my opportunity. Jeremy bent over a 'dying' Scarlett. She was putting on a good sob story about twisting her ankle and it looked as if he was buying it. I got closer to him, reaching into the satchel and pulling out a balloon. I held it gingerly in my hands, I swung my arm back and let go of the balloon with some force. It smacked him straight on the butt. He turned sharply splattering the rest of his legs with red paint as he did. "you are going to pay for that!" he yelled.

I turned and ran in the opposite direction with Jeremy right behind me. I couldn't breathe for laughing and I knew I was slowing down, I could hear his footsteps coming closer and I dreaded to think what he was going to do to me once he'd actually caught up. I wasn't thinking for much longer as a body had dived at me from the side. He must have been quick to get to the side of me, I thought he was still behind. I shook my head trying to gain focus. There sat right on top of me, wasn't who I thought it would be. Not Jeremy, not Jeremy at all but Robert. He was grinning at me, instinctively reached for my satchel. "Oh no you don't!" He pinned my hands above my head so I couldn't move.

"Well. this is certainly a compromising position." He wriggled his eyebrows menacingly. I wriggled, trying to get out from under him. He just shook his head, bent down so his lips were inches from my ear and whispered, "I'm going to cover you in paint, when I'm finished you will resemble a Smurf, Ready?" He was about to lean up and grab a balloon from his satchel. I couldn't let that happen, I had to think of something and do it quick. When he pulled his head up and away from my ear I retaliated and lifted mine at the same time. Crashing my lips against his. He seemed surprised for a moment before eventually kissing me back. And as soon as he did the electric sparks returned but this time making my stomach churn with butterflies.

I hadn't banked on anyone seeing us, but it wasn't until Tom turned up behind Robert, placing a long slender hand on his shoulder. "Romeo, Romeo! Is she.... Oh nevermind I thought you were just performing Mouth to mouth." He laughed at his own joke, I couldn't help but blush. As Tom walked away I saw the rest of them all stood in a line. All stood there staring and smiling, even Scarlett stood smiling, her hand placed abover her heart looking very misty eyed. That was when my eyes scanned the rest of the 'Avengers' and I saw him. Jeremy. He stood scowling and kicking the dirt with the toes of his shoes before he marched off. I heard Robert mutter shit before he too marched off, following in Jeremys direction.
