Ch.28 Gold's warning

After Maddie talked with Headmaster Grimm, she and Raven began setting up their dorm.

"I can't believe Headmaster Grimm said that we can room together" Maddie said with a smile as she set out her tea set on a small table.

"I can tell by the look an his face that he thought you were kidding when you told him you wanted to room with me" Raven said as she set out her makeup on her table.

"Well I get that look a lot, especially when I talk in Riddlish".

"What's Riddlish?"

"It's our language from Wonderland, sometimes I talk in Riddlish and I don't even know I'm doing it".

"So you and the other Wonderlandians talk in Riddlish?"

"Most of the time, like for example, feathers and friends, together hello".

"What?"

"It means it's good to see you".

"Oh, I'm still confused".

"Don't worry, I can teach you to understand".

"By the way, is that your natural hair color?"

"Oh no, my natural hair color is brown, I just dyed it cause I thinks it looks Wonderlandiful".

"Wonderlandiful? I've never heard that".

"Well you just did" Maddie smiled.

Raven gave a small laugh "Hey I'm gonna go get some more stuff, I'll be back".

"Okie dokie" Maddie giggled as Raven left their dorm.

Maddie then started to set out her blankets and pillows on her bed.

"So you decided to room with Raven Queen eh?" a voice asked.

Maddie turned around and saw an creepy looking man with rusty skin and gross teeth.

"Uh, who are you and how did get here?" Maddie asked.

"Oh right" the man chuckled "Where are my manners, the name's Gold, and I got in here by magic".

"Your name's Gold?"

"Yeah you got a problem with that?"

"Uh, no".

"All righty then" he smiled showing his gross looking teeth "So I can see you're rooming with Ms. Raven Queen".

"Yeah".

"And you're not scared of her?"

"Of course not, cause she's not evil".

"I know she's not evil, and I know that she never wants to be evil, but I should warn you, she does have her mother's magic".

"I know that".

"But, she can use her magic whenever she's angry".

"Uh, are you trying to tell me something?"

"I'm just warning you, you may see a nice music loving girl who's not evil, but when she get's mad, well, more like furious, she can go all evil, and she might even hurt someone".

"What? She would never hurt anyone".

"I know that, but she can do it by mistake, she might even hurt you".

Maddie's eyes widen "That's not true, you're just saying that to scare me".

"I'm just warning you" Gold said "Be careful around her, especially when she's mad. And one more thing, don't tell her about this".

He gave a sneaky smile before he disappeared. At that point raven came in with a box full of her stuff.

"Man this box is heavy" she said as she set the box on the floor.

Raven then saw that Maddie had a scared look.

"Um, are you ok?" she asked.

"Oh" Maddie said surprised "Yeah, I'm fine".

"Ok then".

Maddie watched as raven set up her stuff, she couldn't stop thinking about what Gold said, that Raven might actually hurt her.

After the restaurant, the girls walked down the lite up streets as they talked about Elena's and Olivia's performance.

"You guys sounded great together" Lauren commented.

"Yeah" Francis agreed "It was like when Ariana Grande meets Mariah Carey".

Olivia and Elena gave a small laugh.

"Hey girls" Julie said nervously "Isn't it dangerous to be out in the streets at night?"

"We're fine" Kayla said "I've done this a lot, mostly alone, and nothing ever happens, and if something does happen, I know how to take care of it".

"Hello girls" Mr. Gold suddenly appeared which scared the girls "Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you ladies".

"That's fine" Lauren said with her hand over her heart.

"Elena, Olivia, I saw you girls singing at the 'Giant's castle', you sound great together".

"Oh, thank you" they smiled.

"So how are you liking Storybrooke Elena?" he asked.

"I like it" she said "I've made great friends, and it's just nice living here".

"Interesting" he gave a small smile "Well I'll leave you ladies alone, and be careful walking around here at night, you don't know what hides in the dark".

He gave one last smile before he walked away.

"Does he kinda creep you girls out?" Hailee asked.

"Yep" they all agreed.

"Well let's get to Olivia's house so we can have our sleepover" Francis suggested.

"And be careful for what hides in the dark" Macy added.

"What hides in the dark around here?" Kayla asked.

Just then when they were about to turn around a corner, they bumped into Rachel which scared them.

"Oh I am so sorry" she said.

"It's ok" the girls said.

"Rachel what are you doing out here at night?" Hailee asked.

"I was going to ask you the same thing" Rachel said.

"Well we're on our way to Olivia's house, now why are you out here alone in the dark?"

"Oh I kinda stayed at the 'Wonder diner' too long and now I'm heading home".

"Ok then".

"Oh Rachel" Julie said as she reached into her purse and pulled out Rachel's little notebook "You left this at the 'Wonder diner'".

"Oh thank you" Rachel said as she took the notebook "You didn't read it did you?"

"Don't worry I didn't read it".

"Good" Rachel said as she walked pass them.

"Hey Rachel" Elena said "Do you wanna hang out with us?"

"Oh thanks, but I got other plans tonight".

"Ok, then, we'll see at school then".

Rachel watched as they walked away, she then looked at her notebook and saw that everything looked like the way it was. Her drawings and writings about Terrence were still there. She looked back at the girls, she did wanted to join them, but since Elena was with them, the girl who stole her's crush's heart, she didn't want to be around her. She was happy that Terrence was going on a date with her, but now, she was starting to get jealous.
