Things changing quickly
Lickety-splitty
And tomorrow has more to reveal.
The grapevine is thicky
So I advise that you liste'
Only to what you know is right.
Life is so short-livedey
That you can't always worry
About what tomorrow will bring.
This is something that's tricky
So listen intently
Do not take your eyes off the present.
N' just as things are running smoothly
They're running off lost and astra'ye
And they're so far that you won't catch up.
So listen very closely
Take my advicey
Do not fret when the future takes your plans.
