Jacob navigated me to the street he lived on and I pulled up into the driveway of his house. Jacob sighed in a relaxing manner with a smile.
"Home sweet home!" he said before unbuckling his seatbelt and happily hopping out of my Camaro.
I remained seated in the driver's seat and watched Jacob prance to the front door to unlock it. A little chuckle escaped from my mouth. Oh Perez...
I got out of the car after I saw Jacob enter inside his house. His house was two-story and was a smooth, calming salmon color. The house looked brand new; maybe it was brand new. I've never been to this neighborhood before, but it seemed pretty nice and quiet. Perfect for Jacob and his mother.
I skimmed through the colorful flowers that were blooming in Jacob's mother's garden before I walked to the entrance of the nice house. When I walked in, Jacob was nowhere in sight. I saw his Converse he had on were taken off by the door, so I politely did the same and took off my Jordans. It was really quiet. So quiet that you could hear a pen drop.
I walked through the kitchen and observed the living room. Jacob's house inside looked just as good and organized as the outside. From afar I spied a picture on the wall of Jacob when he was a toddler being held by his mother. I carefully walked closer to it to get a better view. I must say, he had a lot of his mother's features that I could point out. I wonder what his father may look like.
Suddenly, I heard muffled footsteps coming from the stairs, startling me a bit from my thoughts. I blinked and turned around, seeing Jacob in a different attire casually walking down the stairs. His regular afro was pulled back with a rubber band in a high "poofy tail"; He wore a nice fitting white muscle shirt, navy blue Adidas shorts, and white ankle socks.
When he approached me with a big gleaming smile on his face, I gazed at him in mere admiration. Jacob had looked really yummy right now.
Ugh, let me stop. I sound so weird and corny.
Jacob raised an eyebrow mischievously and struck a funny pose that could have had me rolling in tears. "Like what you see?" he asked in a fake French accent, wiggling his eyebrows. I tucked my bottom lip under my teeth partially smiling, trying my best to stifle my laughs. But of course, I miserably failed.
I clapped my hands together while Jacob laughed with me in the middle of the living room. I scrambled myself over to the cream colored recliner that was nearby and plopped in it, still laughing like a ridiculous goon. Jacob did the same and laid down on the long, forest green couch across from me.
"Woo!" Jacob exclaimed after our laughing had gradually ceased.
"Oh my goodness," I breathed, adding one last chuckle. That was the first, but also greatest laugh him and I have ever shared. It was enlivening.
Jacob chuckled once more before propping his head on a pillow and looked at me. "So Chresanto, what do you wanna do?" he asked simply.
I shrugged. What was there to do to keep us both preoccupied? "W-we could watch some cartoons or a movie I guess." I responded indecisively.
"Ooh, let's watch Tom & Jerry!" Jacob suggested, popping up from the couch and going to the shelf by the flat screen TV that held all the DVDs. As I watched him search for the DVD, I also observed his body since his back was turned to me.
My eyes traveled to his torso and then his waist. He was skinny, but not as skinny as my friend, Rayan. Jacob was more lean, and his body looked more huggable and petite for a guy. I began blushing like crazy when he started lowly singing Rihanna's first verse to Loveeeeeee Song to himself, slightly swaying his hips to the imaginative beat.
