{Phil's POV}
I groggily open my eyes, the sunlight sending streaks of pain through my head. I glance at my clock. 3pm. I had slept for three hours. I fling the covers off my body, stroking my fingers through my side fringe. I walk over to my dresser and unlocked my phone, glancing at a Facebook notification.
[Dan Howell has requested to be your friend.]
...Again. I scowl with annoyance, denying the request again. Dan is so irritating!
"PHIIIIIIIL" Luke's voice echoes through my room.
"YEAH WHAAAT?" I holler back, chuckling at our weird habits.
"LIV AND I ARE GOING TO THE PARK, CAN YOU DRIVE US?"
I sigh and nod my head.
"PHIL?? IF YOU NODDED, YOU KNOW I CAN'T SEE THROUGH WALLS."
He knows me too well.
"YEAH LUKE, I'LL GET MY KEYS"
As I walk outside, Liv and Luke are arguing.
"No, I'M sitting at the front," Luke spat at Liv, trying to push her out of the front passenger seat.
"No, I already sat here! Phil! Tell him I get to sit at the front!" Liv wailed at me.
I scowl at both of them.
"Both of you, sit at the back."
They both look at me with wide eyes.
"Phil, are you alright? You normally don't make us sit at the back."I ignore their comments as I buckle up my seatbelt angrily. I know I can't stay cross at them forever - they're too sweet. As we pull up at the park, Luke immediately pushes Liv out of the way and rushes to the icecream shop.
"Hey, watch it! Don't bully your sister like that!" A brown-haired boy says sternly to Luke. Luke blinks at him with wide eyes and comes running back to me, hugging my waist and hiding behind me for protection. The brown-haired boy has piercing green eyes, in contrast to Dan's brown ones. His hair is slightly curvy, unlike Dan's. He had a bold, kind smile, but a stern look in his eyes.
"Hi, I'm PJ."
His voice is softer now.
He smiles at me expectantly
"I'm Phil, nice to meet you." I shake his hand politely.
"Are you new around here? I normally don't see you."
I nod.
"Yeah, I just moved here this weekend and I'll be starting school tomorrow."
"Ooh, hopefully you're in some of my classes, and we can talk about stuff tomorrow!"
I look at him with curiosity.
"How do you know that we're in the same school?"
PJ rolls his eyes.
"There's only one public high school around here, and you don't seem like a snob to go to the all-boys private school where the people there are basically training for the military."
I laugh at his description. I hadn't realised that Luke and Liv had already gone to buy icecream, when they returned with two cones in each hand.
"Phil, this is your favourite flavour, triple chocolate with cookies and cream, and we got the other man here a double chocolate, because everyone likes chocolate" Liv states, handing us the icecream.
"How sweet of you." PJ beams at them, licking the icecream.
Luke cowers back a bit.
"Hey buddy, I'm sorry about before, I didn't mean for it to sound so harsh."
Luke nods, but still seems unsure of PJ.After all the icecream had disappeared in our stomachs, we said our farewells.
"Well, PJ, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yep, nice meeting ya, Phil." PJ gives his signature smile and then turns to Luke and Liv.
"You two are really cool, hopefully we can hang out more!"
Liv smiles shyly but Luke just narrows his eyes at PJ.
"Phil, Luke is giving me dagger eyes" PJ states.
"He'll warm up to you, don't worry." I reassure my new friend.
"Anyway, I've got a younger brother at home. He'd probably want to hang out with you guys."
Luke's eyes soften a bit at that remark.
PJ chuckles. "Well, bye Luke, Liv and see you tomorrow, Phil."
"Bye, PJ"{Dan's POV}
Is my computer broken? I send Phil a friend request on Facebook for the third time in two days. Normally, I wouldn't be the one sending requests - I get about 50 requests a day. Phil couldn't have been rejecting my friend requests - he's probably obsessed with me. Or "playing hard to get", as they say. I chuckle. He loves me.
I imagine how his height and beautif- black hair would fit perfectly with my gang. He may even beat people up for us. My heart flutters as I think about him. Is this what having feelings for someone feels like?
I shake my head as I roll over in my bed.
"DAAAAAN" Ash's piercing voice runs through our house. I groan as I trudged to my door.
"YES?!" I yell back. There's a silence, followed by another screech.
"COME DOWN."
I groan again, slowly making my way down the stairs.
Ash is staring out the window.
"What is it, Ash?"
"Luke is so hot, Dan." she sighs dreamily.
"Luke?"
"You know, the black-haired dude's little brother."
"Phil?"
"Yeah whatever, I think so," she smiles again, looking out the window.
I peer out the window.
"Oooh, looks like stupid Liv fell," Ash sniggers.
I look over to see Phil picking Liv up off the ground, the muscles in his arms flexing, almost making me drool. He holds Liv with one hand, while cleaning her wound on her leg with a tissue with the other hand. I smile at his tenderness towards his siblings. He then pushes Luke gently towards their house. In a flash, Liv is looking dead into my eyes, pointing and talking to Phil. Ash's hands grab my shoulders and force me down to the ground.
"That was close," she giggles.
I peer up again, to see that Phil, Luke and Liv have disappeared. Just as I am about to turn around, a pair of big blue eyes face my brown ones. I jump back and yell in surprise, when I see Phil laughing and my shock.
