"So where we heading next?" I asked as we headed towards the car.
"Well, we wanna take you somewhere." Oscar said looking at his rear view mirror at me.
"Yeah, I'm sure you'll love it." Omar smiled beside me.
"Where is it?" I asked.
"Not gonna tell ya." Felix smirked as he faced forward.
"It's a surprise." Olly smiled down at me.
"But is it near or far? At least tell me how long we're gonna be travelling so we can pack some food with us." They looked at each other - again- before Oscar answered.
"Then we better get some food for the road."
...
"How many times do I have to tell you? You cannot buy that!" Oscar said as he ran his hands over his face.
"But I want it! How come Tyvvah can buy that but I can't?" Omar argued again.
"Because she's older than you."
"Only by a few months!" The Latino boy screeched, throwing his hands up.
"That's enough!" I said stopping the argument. "I'm really sorry about that. But we'll just share that one, thank you."I smiled at the lady in the drive thru counter.
"Seriously, you guys are like babies." I laughed as we paid for our food and hit the road.
We drove for a half hour until I noticed a Ferris Wheel appearing in the distance. As soon as we got close enough, I realized that we really were going to the fair! Keep this between us but, i've never been to a fair before! I've never really had the time, which sucks badly.
As soon as we got out, I immediately ran to the entrance like a mad kid on sugar rush. You can't really blame me. I was deprived of the opportunity to go to one when I was younger!
"Whoa! Slow down there, Bugsy!" Olly laughed behind me.
"Come on! You guys are so slow!" I said as I fell in line to get the tickets. "Come on. Come on. Come ooon!" I gestured them to hurry up as they took their sweet sweet time walking towards me. Can't they see how excited I am?
"Five ticket bracelets please." I said with a very big smile to the guy who was in charge of the ticket boot.
"Well hello there, sweet thang." The guy winked at me. Or so I thought.
"Excuse me?" I said.
"I wasn't talking to you dear." He looked at me with slight distaste before winking at someone behind my back.
As I turned, I saw that it was Olly. Ew. This dude was gay. So me being myself, I nudged Olly catching his attention.
"Hmmm?" He looked down at me with a smile.
"Can you uhhh...buy the tickets, please?" I asked him as I went and stood behind his back. For some reason I felt awkward. I have nothing against gays, it's just....I don't know.
"Five bracelets please." He said as he reached behind his back pocket and opened his wallet to get some money.
"Sure thing, hot stuff." The guy said.
Surprised, Olly looked up and absentmindedly took a step back almost stepping on my foot in the process. I took a peak behind his back and saw that the guy was smiling flirtatiously at him.
"What's your name, hottie?" He winked at Olly.
Olly, not knowing what to do, peaked at me from behind. "Ummm...Tyvvah, he just winked at me."
