Olly's P.O.V

Seeing her cry last night was really painful for me. The way her tears wouldn't stop flowing. It really made my heart ache. When I carried her to my room last night, she kept on mumbling but I couldn't make out the words. When I layed her down though, the words that left her mouth surprised me.

"I love you too, mommy."

I've never heard someone say those words with such pain and love in their voice. Maybe that's why she was so upset when we were in the lake. Maybe it reminded her of her mom. I can't help but wonder what happened to make her cry that hard.

"Ogge!" Omar snapped his fingers infront of my face making me look at him.

"Have you been paying attention to anything that I've been saying?" He put his hands on his hips.

"No, sorry. What did you say?" I asked shaking my head before looking at him.

He just stood there though. Watching me with his eyebrows all scrunched up. If he keeps on doind that he's gonna end up getting wrinkles. Raising my eyebrows at him, I waited for him to say something but he just stood there.

"It was last night, wasn't it?" He suddenly asked.

"What?" I looked at him confused.

"Before you carried her to your room, something happened." He observed me.

Dang it, I wish he doesn't know me so well to tell when i'm lying or not. Sighing, I decided to just come clean about it. No use lying to my bestfrien either.

"We just talked, that's all. Well, she talked. I sort of just stood there and hugged her while she cried." I frowned, looking down at the floor.

"Did she tell you why she was crying?"

I just shook my head. Whatever happened to her, it wasn't my story to tell. Last night was clearly one of her breaking points. Even though she mumbled things that might've been a clue, I still wouldn't tell him. He's my bestfriend and all, but it would be wrong to tell them without asking her first.

"You really like her, don't you?" Omar asked.

Looking up, he was staring at me with curiousity laced in his eyes. Looking away, I nodded my head before answering.

"Yeah, I do."

Neither of us said anything after that. He just sat next to me on the balcony, looking at her teaching Felix and Oscar some soccer moves.

"Nooo!" She laughed. "That's not how you do it! You're suppose to kick it like this." She demonstrated again, taking ball from Oscar with a smile before flipping the ball over and kicking it.

Felix tried to take the ball from her by kicking it, which ended in her falling backwards and land into Oscar's arms. A hint of jealousy came over me as I watched her smile with him. With his arms around her. I know I shouldn't be jealous seeing as Oscar's practically like my brother, but I wish I could put a smile like that on her face when i'm around her.

"I know that look in your eyes, Ogge." Omar nudged me with his elbow.

Sighing, I shook my head and stood up. Looking down, her eyes connected with mine. Smiling at me, she waved her hand before drawing her attention to them again. God, even with that smile she managed to leave me breathless. She's going to be the death of me.

...

The car ride back home was entertaining. Tyvvah managed to convince Oscar to let her drive seeing as he was the one who drove us going to the cabin.
