(Picture of Oscar above)
Cold water surrounded me as I flung my arms out trying to get to the surface. I kept on trying to swim up but something's holding me back. Looking down, I saw that the end of my shirt got caught on something.
Feeling somebody jump in the water, I saw Olly swimming towards me. He pulled my hand trying to drag me up but I pulled it back. Looking at me, I pointed to my shirt as I tried to pull it.
Without a second thought, he ripped the part that got stuck and wrapped an arm around my waist as he swam upwards. Coughing, I swam away from Olly.
"Tyvvah! Tyvvah, are you okay?" He grabbed my arm, turning me to look at him.
"Yeah." I said shrugging out of his hold and swimming towards the surface.
I shouldn't be upset. I shouldn't let this affect me. I shouldn't be thinking about it.
In the distance, I saw the others waving their arms at us. Putting on a fake smile, I waved an arm at them.
"You should join us! The water's great!" I shouted.
Without a second thought, they ran towards the water and swam towards us. Omar though didn't follow though, instead he just stood at the edge of the water looking at it.
"Omar!" I called, catching his attention. "Come join us!"
"It's cold!" He shouted back.
Laughing, I swam towards him.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I stood infront of him.
"Nothing." He shook his head. "I'm just not fund of night swimming."
"You'll miss the fun." I smiled at him. "Come on, i'll hold your hand if you want to."
Offering my hand, he took it with a smile and started walking towards the water. The next thing I knew, he was swimming ahead of me and towards the others. After a while, Oscar decided to head back.
While we were walking, the boys kept on talking about sea creatures and how awesome it would be if they rode on the seahorse that was on Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters. All of them except Olly who was silently walking beside me. I wanna thank him for saving me but I was too upset to say anything.
"Are you okay?" He asked suddenly.
Not wanting to talk, I just nodded my head before looking at him and then looking away.
"Did I do something?" He tried again.
Probably sensing that I wasn't going to answer, he sighed and walked infront of me. I didn't mean to make him angry or anything. I just...i'm just not in the mood to talk.
When we got home, he immediately went upstairs and came back with a shirt and boxer shorts.
"You probably might want to change into these since you don't have any clothes with you." He said handing me his clothes.
I mumbled a thanks before walking to the bathroom. Removing my clothes, I took a warm bath, before changing into the clothes Olly handed me. The shirt stopped an inch above my thigh covering the shorts.
Walking back downstairs, I saw Olly leaning against the dryer looking at the floor with his arms crossed. When he saw me in the doorway, his eyes trailed up from my legs to my face and as our eyes made contact which caused him to blush and turn around.
"I ummm...need to dry my clothes." I said as I stood behind him with my clothes in hand.
He moved to the side without looking at me. I dropped my clothes in the dryer and leaned against it.
