13~ I will stay

Sorry it's short and took so long. I've just had a bit of writers block on this book and I've been thinking about my options. Either have one of you guys message me on this and help me with a few ideas.

Of course you guys would get the credit or delete this book. I feel like no one really likes this book so I don't know if I should keep updating and see what happens or just delete it.

I also apologies for taking so long to write. I have 4 different books I'm writing besides this one and I try and update all 5 of them every 2 or 3 days so please try and understand that it may be late. Please comment on what you think I should do and if you like this book or not. Thanks ♡

Thomas's pov.

Scarlet and I were nearly finished the movie and we were both starting to get tired. I saw Scarlet yawn and I could barely keep my eyes open. I felt warm by her side and I didn't know why.

I wanted to go to sleep and I could tell I wasn't the only one. I reached for the remote and turned off the TV. Scarlet crawled under the blankets tiredly and got comfortable. I did the same thing and I was soon face to face with Scarlet.

Her eyes were closed and she was soon asleep. She looked beautiful. Wait? Where did that come from? I mean I am her boyfriend...right? I know why I fell in love with her, she was gorgeous, kind and everything I wanted.

The past nights were I slept alone I felt alone and it just didn't feel right. But now it's different, now it's warm, safe and comforting. I don't know why but I felt like I always did it so I put my arm around her waist and I fell asleep like that.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I notice is that I wasn't tired. The past few nights I had bad sleeps but last night's sleep was different. More peaceful and calming. Maybe it was because of Scarlet.

The next thing I noticed was that I wasn't in the same position I was when I fell asleep. Scarlet's warm back was pressed up against my chest and my arm was still around her waist pulling her in close to me. My chin was rested above her head and I realized I was cuddling her.

I'm not going to lie I didn't want to move, I just wanted to stay with Scarlet like this forever. Her hair smelt nice and it also made me for some reason relax a bit more. Her hand was on top of mine and our legs were tangled together.

Her touch made my skin crawl, she sent tingles up my arms and I couldn't help but want more. I wanted to kiss and hug her like what we used to do. But apart of me didn't feel like I was ready. I mean it only feels like I've known her for a few days.

Something shines off of the sunlight and I look to see what it was. I see on Scarlets neck a silver heart shaped necklace that looked like the one from the video on Christmas. I remember there was something written in it but I don't know what.

Before I could think any more about it Scarlet started to stir awake. She makes this weird cute groan and then opens her eyes. She smiles at me "Morning," She says while looking at me.

"What meaning does the words in the necklace have?" I ask trying to not be rude, curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to know what the necklace meant. She grabs it and squeezes her hand. She then let's go of it and both hands go behind her neck to take off the necklace.

Scarlet placed it into my hand and I gave her a small smile. I gently opened it up and read the fine writing. It was in cursive bit I manged to read it.

I promise I'll stay...I love you forever

What did that mean? I give Scarlet a confused look and she sighs and starts to explain. "Okay so the 'I love you' part is clear right?" she asks. I nod and she sits up and I do as well. She seemed to not want to tell but she does anyway.

"You promised me that you would stay with me because I told you how most people that I have ever loved always, always left me. My dad left when I was a kid because he wanted nothing to do with me. It was just my mum and I. It was us against the world..." She says with a sad smile on her lips. She continues..

"...but my mum got diagnosed with breast cancer and she was soon gone. I had this one boyfriend who I did have great feelings for before I met you. But he cheated on me and left me for this other prettier girl. Most of my friends left me and used me. There have been so many people who left me and I was scared you would soon leave me as well but you promised me you wouldn't!" she says with tears in her eyes.

I could feel the wet tears start to form in my eyes. Scarlet has always had people leave her and she must of been broken after her mum died. It pained me to know that she went through so much.

I pulled her into a hug which she accepted. I still had the heart shaped necklace with diamonds around it in my hands and I held onto it tighter. I was going to keep my promise. I will stay.
