Chapter 15

(James Pov)

What am I going to do? I thought we would have more time to prepare for this. I thought would at least be able to figure out how long will this would happen. My parents told him he would just get demon powers so he wouldn't free out although I think it would have been better to tell him. He's going to have a panic attack once he can change back to himself.

My parents were now in the other room talking to Aidan. I sighed lying on my bed staring up at the ceiling. I can't hurt him, but what if he does something bad? I know the demons want to take over and I can't let that happen, but he's one of them. How do I stop him from helping them without killing him? Mom said that we could try what he agreed to. We could try to help him control the demon half what sucks though is we can't make him good, because the demon well I guess if should call him Shawn; he has his own personality and we can't force him to be good.

My door opened interrupting my thoughts Aaron well actually Shawn walked in and sat on my bed. Staring at him while sitting up I raise an eyebrow at him. It's not that I don't want him in my room it's just that this is strange beaver from Shawn.

"What?" he asked

"You're not going to try and jump out the window are you?" I ask trying to anticipate what he might do.

"Your parents put a spell sort of thing on the house, so I can't leave." he shrugged staring at the wall.

"So why did you come to my room?" I ask sitting on the edge of the bed.

He moves to the middle of the bed faces me while crossing his legs trying to get comfortable.

"I'm not sure just felt a pull, once I entered the room the pull stopped." he said staring at me looking into my eyes trying to find answers to his unanswered questions.

"You want to watch a movie?" I asked hoping that would lighten the mood although I don't know why it would.

He stares at me as if I've lost my mind like he did when I tried talking to him like it do with Aaron when we were in the front room.

"Why?"

"So we can do something other than just sit here and stare at the wall."

"Sure why not." he says crawling off the bed heading straight for the stacks of movies I have near my T.V.

"So what do you want to watch?" I ask walking over to him.

"I don't know what ever sounds good." He shrugs.

I am surprised that he isn't trying to escape even though we do have a spell on the house. I'm not saying that I want him to try it's just it seems suspicious that he's not trying anything.

"Found one."

"What?"

He waved a movie in front of me "I found on." he repeated

"Oh hear I'll put it in the player." I said taking the movie from him and putting the DVD in the DVD player. Grabbing the remote from the side of the TV stand I went to sit on the bed. Shawn came and sat next to me before I hit play.

(Shawn's Pov)

Just have to wait a little longer till my signal gets out. I sent a signal to any demons in the area that could help me. Didn't even know I could do it, but I did and all I have to do now is wait. They might think that I'm not going to try and escape, but why would I want to try and stay here when I have a way to leave. Suddenly I hear a scratching on the window and it seems like the keeper hears it to, because he gets up examining it trying to figure out what's going on. All of a sudden the glass shades into a million paces we both back away staying away from the shades of glass. I smell something it smells like me. The demons got my message finally. Without thinking I jump out the window and run for it without looking back.

"Shawn!" I hear James screaming from behind, but I just keep running.

Someone starts running next to me but it's another demon and from the looks of it it's an experienced one. He looks at me and whispers fallow me since we are both demons we can hear each other when we talk lowly. I fallow him for a while till be decide to take a break.

"Why were you at the keeper's house?" he asked

"Apparently my human half was dating him." I say in disgust

"Didn't he know he was a demon?"

"Nope."

"Well we better go, the other demons are waiting."

(James Pov)

I have to stop him before he destroys the humans and I have to find him before Aaron takes back control he might freak out or help them sometimes that happens and I don't know what he will do. He wiped away his sent I didn't even know he could do that but he did that's just going to make it harder to find him.

"You do realize if he kills someone you can't save him." My mom said gathering things to track him.

"What do you mean?" I ask

"Well right now he's still on a very fine line between staying completely bad or good and if he kills someone then you won't be able to turn him back into Aaron once he kills someone." she explains.

Well if I wasn't freaking out then I am now. Why the hell didn't she tell me this before? When I get him back I am going to sit my parents down and make them tell me everything I need to know.

(Shawn's Pov)

He's on his way I can feel it I can't let him find me.

"Hey Shawn it's almost night time and even demons need to sleep to." Calles the guy that helped me come here.

We went through a portal to another dimension it almost looks like the human world but it's not. They have a campsite set up with cabins everywhere and there's a big on where we have our meetings about how to take over. My cabin I'm sharing with a girl named Sophie and a guy named Alex. Some cabins have all of one gender in some, but most of them are mixed since no one really cares we just want a place to sleep. Although if people want to change then there are places to change and have a shower. We make our own food or we don't eat at all; not like I care though, because I can cook so I'm fine.

I fallowed Alex and Sophie to our cabin since we were all exhausted from a long day of mostly running. The cabin was medium sized with two bunks and a single bed. I took the single bed. Jumping in I got comfy and fella-sleep
