I have a love hate relationship with school. If I was able to come to school whenever I want, I would love that. But waking up at 6:00 am to get to school by 8:50 was just torture. It's not that I spent hours in the morning doing my hair and picking out the perfect outfit. That wasn't even necessary, who was I trying to impress? It's the fact that it took so long to get to school. Ryder was usually gone before I even woke up because he works early so him driving me to school was out of the option.

So I walked out of my house wearing my usual outfit: an over sized sweatshirt with black tights and black converse. I pulled my hair up into a high pony and was ready for the day. I bit into the apple which was my breakfast and waited for the bus. And here's where my long journey to school starts.

Don't you hate when things don't work your way? Like if you ask for something from your parents and you don't get it. No matter how much you beg, they never say yes and you end up crying in the corner threatening to run away. Or when you find out that your bus won't be coming because of a certain problem so you have to walk to the next one. Well this is what's happening to me. And I wasn't walking quietly, I made sure everyone around me knew what was going on.

Or another thing. Have you ever realized that after you meet someone you start seeing them everywhere? You never in your life saw them before they said hello and now it's like they are secretly stalking you. Well that's how I felt when I saw Daniel pull up in his car next to me. I stopped walking and stared at him while I crossed my arms. Never have I saw him drive this way when my bus stopped working. And now magically he's here. I didn't think he would take the stalking thing seriously.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I'm driving to school. And if I don't hurry then I'm going to be late," he said smiling at me. To me, he was really weird. He continued to stay there and I raised my brow at him.

"So go, bye," I said waving at him but he stayed there. What the hell is wrong with him? Who complains that they are going to be late and then does nothing about it? I hope he's late and gets in a lot of trouble so I could do my evil laugh.

"Hop in," he demanded and I scoffed. Who did he think he is? I don't care if I was suppose to be friends with him, the only person who will order me around is Ryder. Only because he has strange tickling powers.

"I'd rather walk, thanks," I said as I walked away. He started to drive slowly next to me humming along to a song playing from the radio. I glared his way before completely ignoring him. To my frustration, he continued to drive slowly next to him. If he had to stop at a red light, I would run but as soon as it turned green he was right back next to him. "Fine, damn you're so annoying," I said getting into his car.

He smiled at me before speeding off toward school. My hair whipped around the car and I had to hold it down. He continued to hum to a song and I looked out the side of the car. How would I get him to be comfortable enough with me? By the looks of it, he looks already comfortable enough.

"So tell me about yourself," I said turning toward him. He glanced at me quickly before concentrating on the road. I didn't think he was going to talk anymore.

"Well, my name is Daniel Redgard. I live with both parents and my little sister not too far from the school. My favorite color is green, my girlfriend-" I cut him off when I realized what he said. If he live so closed to the school, what was he doing in my neighborhood. So that's what I asked him.

"I was just strolling around." He shrugged but I wasn't buying it. There was something up and if I figure it out now then he will be out of my life for good and I could go back to the girl in the back of the classroom.

"But that doesn't make any sense."

"Makes sense to me."

I rolled my eyes and stared at the window. Obviously I wasn't going to get a proper answer and I had to work my way into his life in order to get one. But Rebecca would be hearing about his little stroll, maybe that will get her to stop calling me late at night to work things out. It was really annoying. But now her whole giving me his number thing wasn't going to work. It would just make me look stupid. Like her plan.
