Sabrina's P.O.V

I pushed open the double doors leading to a corridor that would get me to my destination. It was rare for him to call a meeting so this must be important. Hell, it better be important, I don't have time to waste. While everyone is sitting around playing tea party, I'm the one making sure everything is ready. I'm the one making sure nothing stands in our way. And when there is a problem, I'm the one people come to for help. Yes, me, nobody else. Especially not him, not if they want their life to end. Because he doesn't tolerate nonsense. If you're not perfect, you're not worth it is his motto.

I reached the end of the corridor and pushed open the ancient door to see that only two people were present. Which means, I have to wait. And I don't like waiting for anybody. Sitting on one of the chairs facing his throne was who I liked to call Thing One and Thing Two. I only remember the names of people who are important to me, and if I really need it I can always just reach in their mind and get it. I always get what I want.

"Why are you two the only people here?" I asked in a cool tone. On the inside I was angry but I was nice enough not to take it out on these two. They had a mission that was important to our plan. I don't trust easily so I assigned one job to two people just in case one failed. They both stood up and stared at me. I could feel the nerves coming off of them and I fought the urge to roll my eyes. I don't think I'm that intimidating.

"T-they s-should be h-here s-shortly," Thing One stuttered. I don't why she's so scared, it's not like I'm going to do anything to her. If the situation was different and she wasn't needed, then maybe but it's not that way.

"Do you know why they are not here?" I asked and they both shook their head. Ugh, this was useless. I might as well let them tell me their progress. "Are you guys able to get what is needed when the time comes?"

"Yes," Thing Two replied curtly and I nodded my head. I looked at Thing One who was quiet. I already knew what that meant, she failed. It didn't matter since I had one but just because she was so afraid, I just had to mess with her.

"And what went wrong?" I asked the girl. It surprised me how much power I had over these two, especially since I was younger than them. This would have never happened if I didn't convert. That was the best thing that ever happened to me.

"She..uh... is difficult. I failed, I'm sorry." she avoided eye contact so I walked up to her until we were barely touching.

"Look at me," I commanded. I wanted her to use her own free will to do as I say. And if she still didn't do it, then I would simply force her. She continued to stare at the floor which was my chance. "I said look at me." My voice was darker and my eyes shown brighter as I commanded her body. Her head shot up to mine and I grinned. I enjoyed having power over people. Once again, converting was the best thing that happened to me. "Explain yourself."

"Well, I was this close to completely having her but-"

"But what? Close to succeeding is not the same as succeeding. What. went. wrong." I said the last three words slowly as if speaking to a child. Why couldn't people just get to the point? I hated long stories, especially if it didn't have a good ending. Which this didn't.

"She always with your brother now. If I go anywhere near him, he'll probably know what I am. You don't want them to know our plan right? I had to stay away," she explained.

"That is where you are wrong." They both gave me a confused look and I smiled evilly at them. What fun would it be to do something so extraordinary and people don't find out until its done? "I want them all to know."

"But, what if they try to stop us?" Thing Two asked me and I scoffed in response. Try to stop us? There's no way they can, it is impossible. I've thought about every single precaution, every single thing they could possible do to try to stop us. And I put an end to it. Everything was perfect.

"They can not stop us. It is too late and we haven't done anything yet." The only thing I didn't take into consideration was this difficult girl. But she wasn't a problem. Though, I would love to meet the girl that has been difficult for Thing One. "Who is the girl you have failed to get?" I asked her.

"Aura. Aura Thomas, why?"

"Don't ask questions. Where can I find her?" I asked her and she told me how her brother is having a birthday party tonight at her house. The exciting news is that my brother is going to be there. It gives me practice to see how far I can take things. As soon as she finished her long and boring speech, the doors open to reveal the rest of them. They filed in two by two and quickly and quietly took their seats. Following them, was none other than him. He walked over to his thrown and gracefully sat down.

He stared out into the crowd he created and gave us a victorious smile. The four words he said made the crowd vibrate with excitement and anticipation. I even participated in the show of this emotion.  He spoke in a loud, melodious tone as he spoke his declarative statement. "The die is cast".

This was going to be an interesting night.

Aura's P.O.V.

I stared at myself in the mirror and sighed. No sweatshirts and tights is what my brother declared and since it was his birthday I would do it. But that didn't mean I would dress up, I don't do dresses. So instead, I wore a pair of faded blue jeans and a plain grey shirt that complimented my eyes. To me, this was dressing up and this was as far as I would go. I even decided to leave my hair out and it made a curtain around me stopping mid thigh.

I looked fine, well I thought I did. So I exited my room to join the crowd- which was bigger than I thought it would be. Ryder lied when he said he was just celebrating with a few friends, this was a full blown party. I squinted my eyes and found Daniel sitting on the couch alone while everyone around him was dancing. I quickly made my way to him and plopped down on the seat next to him.

"Missed me?" I asked and he looked at me with a shocked expression. I guess it was because of the clothes I was wearing.

"I've never seen you in anything except your sweatshirt and tights," he said looking me over. I felt self conscious and started to fix my clothing. "Or wear your hair out," he said grabbing one of my long dark locks and twirling it with his fingers. I felt myself blush and I looked away from him.

"Whatever, let's go find my brother," I said changing the subject from me. I grabbed at his hand to pull him up and I led him through the crowd. After a few rude looks from some of the people I didn't know and snide remarks from the ones I did I found Ryder leaning against the kitchen counter with his best friend Ian, also known as E.

E leaned on the counter opposite from Ryder, chuckling to what I guessed was a joke Ryder made. When I was younger, I used to have a crush on him. But who wouldn't? He was everything a girl could want and more, well except for his obnoxious behavior sometimes. They both looked at me at the same time and I smiled while I introduced Daniel.

"Hey little bud, who is this?" E asked and I walked over to him and gave him a hug. For some reason he always smelled like apple pie.

"Ryder, E, this is Daniel. He's a very close friend of mine. Daniel this is my brother Ryder and his friend and also mine, E." They exchanged a few words and laughs before I cut in once more. "Where's Veronica?" I asked Ryder and he frowned.

"She's running late, I'll introduce you two when she arrives."

"Can you believe it little bud? My man Ryder is finally whipped," E said laughing and Ryder punched him in the arm. I led Daniel out of the kitchen and back to the couch.

"Your brother seems cool, so does his friend," Daniel said in my ear since the music was too loud. I smiled in response and watched as the people danced. I was more of a watcher then a dancer. Which is why I don't go to many parties, also the fact that I don't have a lot of friends to go to parties. "Hey, I'm going to the bathroom. Don't miss me too much," he teased and I rolled my eyes. He stood up from the couch and I watched him walk away until he got lost in the crowd. How Ryder fit so much people in here was a mystery.

"Thank you, I thought he'd never leave," an unfamiliar voice said and I looked up at the figure in front of me. There stood a young girl with copper hair and green eyes that sparkled with mischief which closely resembled Daniels. "How about we have a little chat."
