****Gen's P.O.V****
We had finally found our team and we're back at the tower. Steve was sitting on the couch staring off into space. I don't know what Jarod did to him, but whatever it was, wasn't good. I was sitting in his lap with my arms wrapped around him. I could feel him shaking.
"You're okay," I whispered, "You're safe here."
Sage walked over, "Gen you have to get off of him."
I grabbed him tighter, "No."
"I can't fix him if you don't let go," she said.
I sighed and got off of Steve. I walked away with no real destination in mind. I wandered into the kitchen and found the last person I expected to see again.
"Uncle," I said.
"You're needed on Asgard," he said.
"Oh?" I asked, "Why?"
"A matter has arisen," he stated.
"Yeah, well a matter has arisen here too."
He frowned, "What has happened?"
I sighed, "I'm not really sure but the Avengers were captured by Sage's crazy ex-boyfriend. He did something to them. Dad is fine, but Steve, Nat and Bucky, not so much. Oh, and Clint is fine too."
"The children?"
"They're fine."
He nodded, "We need to get to Asgard."
"You still haven't told me why."
He sighed and smiled, "I told Father that you would be like this."
I arched a brow.
"Father says that you can come back to Asgard."
I scoffed, "That's nice, but I don't want to."
He laughed, "You don't get a choice." He grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder. I squealed as he walked outside so we could take the Bifrost to Asgard. He set me on my feet once we got to Asgard.
"You know this is considered kidnapping," I smacked him on the arm.
He smiled at me, "Come."
I glared at him but followed him anyway. We walked down the rainbow bridge toward the palace. As we walked through the doors, Loki joined us. He was paler than normal, which couldn't be good. I looked over at Thor who frowned.
"It's getting worse," Thor murmured.
Loki scoffed, "Of course not."
"Wait, what?" I asked, "What the hell is going on?"
"Nothing," Loki drawled.
"Don't lie to me," I snapped, "you look like you're dying."
"Come," Thor said, "we can't keep Father waiting."
I growled at the both of them, "You're right, Uncle, of course not. Maybe he will be able to tell me what is going on." I stormed toward the throne room. The guards opened the way for us. Thor and Loki gave Odin a slight bow, but I refused to give him any respect. He and my mother threw me out. I want nothing to do with him.
"What is the meaning of this?" I snapped.
Odin frowned, "You are to fix Loki."
"Am I?" I asked, "And why can't you fix him? Oh wait, I know it's because you have no parental concern for him. What happens to Loki when I fix him?"
"That is no concern of yours daughter of mine," my mother said stepping up to stand next to Odin.
I glared at her, "I am not your daughter. You gave me up."
"That was not my choice," she said. Pointing at Loki she snapped, "He tricked me."
I looked at Loki then smirked, "Well he is the trickster god. He told me what really happened. He did it so he could get me away from your psycho ass."
"Not true," she growled.
Loki laughed and threw an arm around my shoulder. He pointed to a spot on the ceiling, "Look a flashback."
There was nothing there but I played along. Laughing I said, "You're blowing my mind, Lok."
"Enough," Odin roared. Loki backed off. I glared at him. I knew exactly what he wanted; me to fix Loki then Loki was going to spend the rest of his days in a cell. Not on my watch he wasn't going to.
I smiled, "Of course I will fix Loki, but I will not let you throw him in a cell for crimes he didn't commit," I turned to Loki, "Commit any crimes lately?"
He shook his head.
I turned back to Odin, "See he's actually innocent in this. Before you start to protest he actually helped save Midgaurd instead of trying to control it. He saved my life actually, I owe him a debt. That I'm now repaying. Even when he was trying to take over the Earth, that wasn't entirely him. She," I pointed at Belladonna, "was controlling him. She was the one who made the deal with Thanos. Yeah, I know about that. I know pretty much everything. Daughter of a genius here; thanks Dad. Not the point, the point is whatever you are trying to do here isn't going to work. I will not let you wrongly accuse Loki for something he didn't do. He is my family, you are not."
I grabbed Loki and stormed out of the room and headed back to the Bifrost. Heimdall opened the portal and I dragged Loki through it. We landed back at the tower on the same spot Thor and I left from. As I dragged Loki toward the living room Sage meet us half way; upon seeing Loki she grabbed his arm and dragged him to the industrial size freezer. She locked him in there and walked away.
"Umm what?" I asked.
She turned to look at me, "Frost giants need to turn blue every so often or they start having problems like he did."
I nodded my head, "I see."
"Hey Gen," my dad called sticking his head into the room, "You got a minute?"
I nodded and followed him down to his office. Mom was sitting at the desk and Clint was lounging on the couch.
"What's up?" I asked.
Mom sighed, "You mention double dealing."
I nodded and pulled out my phone, "Friday can you pull up those pictures from my phone please?"
"Of course ma'am," the AI replied. Friday displayed the pictures on the computer.
"See," I said making a few of them bigger, "Someone has our tech. They even have weapons," I made another one bigger.
"Is that what I think it is?" Dad asked.
"Oh my God," Mom exclaimed, "It is."
"Either of you want to explain what is so amazing?" Clint asked.
Dad pointed to the screen, "That would be the Jericho missile."
Clint sat up, "I'm guessing that's bad."
Mom nodded, "Yeah, its bad."
I looked at my father, "I thought that all ended when you became Iron Man?"
His face paled, "So did I."
"We have to find them and stop this," Clint said walking out the door.
I followed him out, "How do you plan on doing that? We don't even know where they are."
"Know where what are?" Steve asked coming up behind me.
"Nothing you need to worry about, Capsicile," Dad said joining us in the hallway.
Steve frowned, "What did you do, Stark?"
Dad gaped at him, "Since when is this about me?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, isn't everything?" Steve sassed.
I looked at Clint looking for an answer from him.
He smirked, "Friday can find them." The AI popped up a location for the weapons. Oh God no. I wasn't going back there.
