♣Chapter 2♣

I rolled my eyes slightly as Thor try to correct himself from a stupid comment which made Bruce feel a little guilty

"Uh, but, not the screams of the dead, of course. No no, uh...wounded screams, mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and, and uh... and gout." he said

"Good save" I said as Tony spoke up

"Hey Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul, is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" he asked. Banner looked at him.

"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around"

"Thanks" Tony replied before turning his attention to a microphone by his seat. I looked down in thought of the female I saw before. The way she stared at me, the way she looked. It made me blush inside and out.

'No!' I shook my head. I shouldn't be falling for the enemy...Never..

"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and Hydra, so. Yes, revels." Steve said taking me from my thoughts. I walked over to the group with a smile

"Agreed here, I need a break for once" I said as the aircraft landed at Avengers Tower. I walked out of the aircraft as Maria stepped forward

"Lab's all set up boss." she said

"Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler." Tony said as I rolled my eyes but walked along with Steve and Maria.

"What's the word on Strucker?" Steve asked

"NATO's got him."

"What about the two enhanced?" I asked as Maria produced a tablet showing the two. Including the same female from before. My heart started to beat a little fast.

"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special." Maria explained as I bit my lip slightly after knowing her name.

"Their abilities?" Steve asked

"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." Steve looked at her confused before I sighed and spoke up

"Hes fast and shes weird Steve" I said causing him to nod in understanding

"Well, they're going to show up again." Steve said as I walked into the elevator along with him.

"Agreed. File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts." Maria said

"Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" Steve asked

"Were not at war captain" I pointed out

"They are" Steve responded as the elevator doors closed

~LATER ON~

I smiled slightly at the mirror. I was wearing a black long dress with black pumps. My black hair was neat and straight thanks to magic of curling iron. Pink lip gloss was around my lips and I have eye shadow over my eyes. I found my self doing a small smile. I hardly dress like this since I would remember my mother and me going out and picking out dresses at a small mall. But I had no time to think about the past. As I walked into Tony's party people looked at me as if I was an angel. I sighed slightly at the many flirting looks I was getting from guys and girls. I walked outside and looked into the deep night sky and gazed upon the moon.

I sighed before going back inside of the tower feeling a weird sense go through my body. I felt warm on the inside. I smiled a bit before dancing along with the guests at the party. After it was finished, we all sat down as Thor placed his hammer on the table.

"Come on, man its a trick" Clint said

"Be my guest" Thor chuckled letting him go on as I rolled my eyes

"Oh my god..." I sighed

"Really?" Clint asked

"Go on" Thor said still smiling.

"Clint, we know you had a bad week so we not gonna hold it against you if you don't pick it up" Tony said with a smirk before I burned his hand a bit with my fire powers "Ouch! What was that for?!"

"For being an idiot" I responded with a sweetest smile as Clint tried to pick it up but couldn't.....

"I still dont know how you do it" Clint said with a laugh

"You still smell my silent judgement?" Tony asked

"Please, Stark, by all means." Clint said. Tony first tried to do it himself before he tried again with a Iron man piece on his hand. Then he tried it again with Rhodey but again he failed. Banner then tried to pick it up pretending to be on the hulk but no one laughed.

"Sorry dude" I said with a smile "You did good though"

Steve grabbed its handle before trying to lift it up. It moved up a slight bit making me looked at Steve with curiosity and the look on Thor's face fell. Steve tried to move it up a bit more but he couldn't. He looked at me and I shook my head

"Sorry dude, I rather not answer the question" I said, a small smile forming at my lips. My eyes sparkled.

"Same with me" Natasha said putting up her hands

"You bet your ass" Clint said making Hill look at Steve.

"Steve, he said a bad language word" she pointed out as I smirked

"Did you tell everyone about this?" Steve asked glaring at Tony

"The handle is imprinted it right? Who shall be carrying Thor's fingerprint is the literal translation" Tony said as Thor stood up.

"Yes, that is a very interesting theory but I have a simpler one" he said as he picked up his hammer is one swift motion "You are not worthy"

Suddenly a high pitched noise sounded from the room making me feel dizzy before I heard a low chilling voice that made a chill go through my spine
