Please,
Please!

"I think that's everyone!" She smiled clapping her hands together, then glad this would all soon be over she made her way to the boats.

In there a mother was screaming for her child, claiming him to be in the market place. Slightly annoyed she reluctantly turned towards the market place. Once about 50m from the market place she realised Clint had already gotten the child.

And then it came. Ultron flying the QuinJet, and firing a storm of bullets towards where Clint and the boy was. Frightened, and filled with adrenaline she mustered a moveable force field. But, when she was done, as she was about to send it over. A quick gush of wind passed her, following it was a blue blur. The same blue blur, the same gush of wind. The same Pietro. And then when the dust settled.

"Pietro!!!" She shrieked. "Pietro!!!"

Tears threatening to spill down her cheeks she sprinted over to where they were. Clint and the boy were fine, just shocked to be alive. He staggered, blood staining his shirt. Just as she was about to get close enough to see his face.

"What, you didn't see that coming?" He faltered before collapsing on the ground.

"He just needs a rest... Just taking a minute..." She repeated over and over in her head.

But the blood curdling scream that came from Wanda could be heard. The blood stains on his back, and the blank expression on his face confirmed it.

The tears cascaded down her face, as she stood there, almost screaming at his lifeless body.

"Please! Please!" She fell down to him and rolled him over, pressing her ear against his chest, "Please... You promised..." She cried onto him, but soon words failed her and she lied there sobbing into his lifeless body.

His blood, staining her cheeks and her tears creating a pool of water around them. Her mouth miming the words 'please' over and over. She wanted to shake him, he was just joking, feigning death. But she knew, she wasn't that stupid. He was gone, and he wasn't coming back to her.

Steve, Thor and Clint stood around her, uncertain of how to comfort Alice in her state of grief. She knew he couldn't come back.

Unless...

"Thor!" She gurgled, through her sobs, "Get me to the Helicarrier now! I can save him..." She pressed her lips on his. But her warmth was paralleled by his coldness. She could feel him fading away. It needed to be now.

"Alice, I don't think you can..." Steve spoke softly, petting her on the shoulder, in an attempt to comfort her.

"No I can! The Helicarrier now, please Thor!" She pleaded, and held Pietro in her arms. Thor then lifted her up and flew her to the Helicarrier.

Placing him on a cart, she drove him to a medical room. But she didn't do anything to Pietro but lie him on the floor. She wrapped him in a blanket and made sure he was comfortable. Then she lied down on the still, hard, cold floor, next to him. Holding his hand she plugged herself into an outlet and focused her mind.

Her mind was on one thing.
