Percy took his time walking back to his dorm room after he finished having dinner with his mom. He wanted to reflect on everything that has been happening. His mom picked up that something was off and Percy decided to finally tell her a little bit about his problems with Jason. She was very understanding, though she wasn't very happy about the situation.
As Percy was walking it began to drizzle. He was pretty sure it wasn't supposed to rain, but he had brought a jacket just in case. Percy wondered if it was raining where Jason was.
Jason couldn't help himself, he had to go. It would only take him a few hours to get there, though he still wouldn't get there until midnight he guessed. He tried to stay calm as he drove, but he couldn't stop his fingers from drumming away at the steering wheel. Jason wasn't sure why he was so nervous, maybe he was scared that he would see something that he didn't want to see. After he pulled over to get gas he sat in the parking lot for a minute calming himself down. Everything would be fine.
When Percy got back to his room and saw that his roommate left a note saying that he was out he decided to put on dry clothes and curl up in bed with a book. He started reading but before he knew it his thoughts were no longer on the book but on Jason. He wondered what Jason was doing, wondered what his plans for the weekend were, wondered if he was studying for any big tests. At some point his wondering put him to sleep.
~Around 12:30 A.M~
Jason knew that people would be asleep, that he would probably be asleep, but he still went and knocked on his door. After he knocked a few times and no one answered, he sat down on the ground next to the door. He knocked one more time, hoping that he would answer. Jason waited a few seconds before he heard shuffling coming from the other side of the door. The door opened and standing in front of him was a very tired Percy.
Percy finally decided to get up and open the door before the person knocking woke up his roommate, who was not a very kind person when woken up mid-sleep. He stood up and slowly walked over to the door. When he finally opened the door his heart stopped. They stood there for a moment, just looking at each other, before Jason wrapped his arms around Percy.
"What the hell are you doing here so early in the morning?" Percy whispered.
"I missed you."
"We need to talk."
