By the time they got there visiting hours were over. Sally suggested getting a hotel room but Percy insisted on staying at the hospital.

"Perce don't you have classes tomorrow?"

"Yeah..  I'll email my professors in the morning I guess."

"Honey, he's going to be fine. You really have nothing to worry about." Percy nodded. He knew his mom was right, but he was still worried about Jason.

"I just want to be here for him."

"I understand that, but honey you can't just go missing classes like this-"

"Mom my boyfriend passed out in the middle of a football game. I have every right to be here and to be worried." She didn't say a word.

In the morning a nurse came and shook Percy's shoulder to wake him up. He sat up and rubbed his eyes as the nurse told him that he could go see Jason now.  Jason was awake when he walked in the room, he looked surprised to see Percy there.

"Percy? I thought you had classes today?"

"I did, but I heard that you were here and I wanted to come see you to make sure that you were okay."

"I'm fine, they just said I have a concussion and that I have to eat more."  Percy looked confused.

"Why would they say that?"

"I guess I passed out from having a lack of food in my system."

"Why haven't you been eating?"

"I just got distracted by studying and football so I forgot to eat regularly."

"Jason..."

"I'm fine, I swear." Jason smiled. "Hey, not long until Christmas break! I can't wait to see everyone."

"Yeah, I can't wait for you to come home."

"I got you your Christmas present a while ago,  I think you'll love it."

"I'm sure I will. I'm not going to tell you if I got you yours yet or not."

Jason and Percy talked until Jason was dismissed from the hospital, then they drove him back to his dorm.

"I'll see you at Christmas, I love you." Jason kissed Percy.

"I love you too, see you then. Take care of yourself please." To his mom it seemed like something nice to say, but to Percy it meant so much more.
