This is short again, but the next part is where the action comes as they try and find a way out. :) Please comment telling me what you think! =D
Part 7
The next day we told Dana our plans, or Sophyella's plans to be more precise. She seemed surprised we had formed some kind of plan, but didn't say anything. Meanwhile as the weeks went by Sophyella stopped eating and just drank water. It tortured me to see her starving herself while me and Dana shared her food so they would not think we were on some kind of hunger strike. I made Sophyella eat at least a little bit once a day though so she had some energy to go through all the testing during the day.
After a couple of weeks went by she was already getting very skeletal. She was tired most of the time and spent a lot of time sleeping or laying in bed. I could hear her moaning a couple of times because of the hunger pains, but could do nothing about it. In the third week she tested and her head and shoulders went through. Had she been human she would already be able to go through, but she had to become thinner to compensate for the bulge in her back. She was looking paler everyday and she grew thinner and weaker still. Into the fourth week she tried to go through the bars every night and the fifth time she tried she did it. I couldn't believe it and got up immediately and called Dana, she was up in an instant. We were all very alert.
We kept quiet while Sophyella walked to the door in the end of the hallway in front of our cells. The minutes she was away felt like hours as I worried something had happened to her. When she came back she had a bright smile that lit up her pale skeletal face as she jingled a set of keys.
Dana still hadn't said anything as me and Sophyella fumbled with the keys to find the right one in the dark. When my cell door made a click and unlocked I felt freer then I ever had. We hurried to Dana's cell and as her cell clicked and opened she didn't seem happy or excited, I think she looked a little hesitant. I tried not to think about what that meant as we headed for the door in the end of the hallway.
