I thought about putting this with part 1 but it seemed better if there was a pause in between. This was Andy telling of his past. The next part moves on to the present. Please comment telling me what you think! I love to hear from readers! =D

Part 2

The next morning I woke up to screams and loud voices. I heard Mother shouting desperately and it sounded like she was begging.

“They are just children, they are just like us! Even if they were not would you keep wild birds in a cage?” I didn’t hear the answer to her pleas because she was screaming again, it sounded like she was in pain. I leapt out of my bed and tried to run to her, but John was then on top of me and wouldn’t let me pass. I screamed at him to let me go to her and he said he couldn’t. I could see in his eyes how much he also wanted to go to her. He was all tensed up and it dawned on me that he probably knew what was going on and had already been through this before.

I was about to make another attempt to go past him, but by then we were both out of the door because we had heard another voice scream. It was a, pained, blood curdling scream, high pitched scream. It was Julie. When we got downstairs Julie’s screaming had already stopped. It was a very gruesome and horrifying scene. There were men in black uniforms everywhere. Julie was unconscious and being carried by one of the men. Mother was struggling against three of them, but it didn’t look like she was succeeding. I barely had time to register all of what was going on before John was on the floor being held down by three or four men after trying to attack the guy who had Julie. I tried to go help him but before I made it to him something hit me in the back of my head, but before any kind of pain could be registered I fell down unconscious.

In the long second it took me to fall on the floor unconscious I saw a figure who was wearing a long white coat standing in the corner watching the entire scene.
