Leila Crown-Wall just moved to Portland Oregon, she only moved here because her father gained custody of her and her brother, Leila hates her father. John is an Alcoholic and was/is an abusive father. When Leila was younger she had to hide her bruises. One day John had a little to much to drink and her mom-Melody- was stabbed in the abdomen by John. Leila decided to stand up for her,but John didn't like that, he had cut Leila's arm and punched her so hard it knocked her out. One of Leila's friends Amber got concerned and called child protective services(CPS). The CPS started to ask question and John started to make it sound like Melody cut her daughter and hit her and then did the same thing to John after he said that he was going to call the cops and then she did it to her self to make it look like he did all of it... They bought the story and Melody went to prison for 5 years. That was a week ago.

So this is just background about Leila and her family issues. Keep in mind that Melody is pregnant with Adam during this (7 months pregnant to be exact)
I will try to publish this book all at once but occasionally I will publish a chapter here and there for your pleasure.
