"Oh come on!!! Kiss already!!!" I heard a chuckle of to the side. I dipped my spoon in for more ice cream and stuffed my face.

"Your so cute when you get angry." He said as he stared i my eyes.

"Shut up" I sat up as he sat right next to me, I scooted closer and closer. I lifted up his arm and laid on his chest and put his arm around my back. The entire time in doing so he stared me straight in the eyes.

I heard some music playing in the background and looked over to the tv an noticed that the credits were rolling and a familiar song was playing.

"Awe, I love this song! If I could be your superman I fly you to the stars and backs again! And switching the movie."

He chuckled next to me "I thought you loved that song?" Alex said.

"yeah loved, the movie was too sappy for that song." I replied back.

I got up and I'll put the ice cream back in the freezer, walked back over to the couch and cuddled up to Alex and selected the next movie. "What do you want to watch?"

"it doesn't matter to me. Civil War sounds good." Alex stated

"Looks like we're watching that."

After the movie Alex drove me home. The entire time we were in the car it was dead silent, he kept on gripping the steering wheel a little too tight, made me kind of nervous. It looked like he had something nagging on him, like a question of some sort. When he pulled up to my driveway he got out of the car and walked over to my side to open the door. We walked slowly up to my front door I stood in front of him and waited for him to ask his question, then all the sudden he walked away.

The next day at school I talked to Alice about it she said it sounded very weird, scratch that odd. We Continued to have a conversation about it I could tell definitely catch her attention so I switch the subject.
"How are things going with Dean? You guys a thing yet??"

It's lit up with excitement. "You can't tell anyone but I think I like him... And I think he may like me to." She was so excited about it, she could practically drive out of her chair and do 20 cart wheels right in front of me.

"that's great Alice, I'm so happy to hear that!" I am the other hand was overjoyed to hear the bell ring. Alex would real me to my next class and I could talk to him about what happened last night. When I got out into the hall I noticed he wasn't there.

"Alice do you know why Alex is waiting for me? "

"No no clue did something happen between you two?"

"Not that I'm aware of" This is probably about last night.

"I'll push you to your next class."Alice offered. "If you don't mind me asking when are you gonna get your cast off? "

"And actually getting it off next week, I am super excited I can't wait. "I actually wasn't excited to get it off. That would require me going to the hospital again, they're probably going to force me to see my dad. They're also probably going to tell me that he's fine and that he's OK to go home. Which means I will no longer be staying with this foster family and going home with him.

When I got home I had a dinner waiting for me. "What's this for? "I asked. Patty looked at me with tears in her eyes she seemed really upset.

"This... Is going...To be our last...Night together. I just wanted to...make it special for you." Patty had said
I mentally cursed myself. I would have to to live with my so-called father, and be abused even more and I couldn't do a thing about it.

"thanks for this Patty you really didn't have to. I'm devastated to leave you guys, the time I spent with you guys here has been wonderful, I guess I'll see you in a while? "

"now now. Don't fret I don't want to make a big deal out of this. "She was on the brink of tears this point. "Child services will pick you up tomorrow after school gather your things and get ready to go. " Patty was really devastated. But she was acting like she didn't really want me anymore just last night she was saying how I was like a daughter to her.
I started packing my things after he ate, I only had one suitcase full but I still packed.

The next morning I've got it on my things and put it by the front door I was ready to go to school I open the door and Alex was sitting outside waiting. "Alex what the fuck are you doing sitting outside my front door like some creeper. "

"listen Leila I am really sorry for ignoring you but there's something that's bothering me. "

"Well spill"

"Lila this is been bugging me for a while...... Leila will you go out with me?"
