Chapter 3)

*Astrid's P.O.V.*
For the last week there were no dragon raids, everyone wonders why, but it all seemed to go downhill because of that, because everyone fights dragons every one or two days everyone has their mind set to do that, so we have gone to war with every other tribe, well Stoick did, no one liked how he just decided to do that, so every day we get raided by other tribes, Berk used to look like a nice paradise island before, but because of the constant raids, most of the woods burned down, the village is rough and the houses are half built or repaired, it's like everything turned bad if you want something to end. I was snapped out of my daydream when a Viking called out "TRADER JOHANN IS HERE, TRADER JOHANN IS HERE!" I quickly run to the docks and barged my way to the front of the crowd, the trailer comes and says, "ahh, Berk, may not be the most beautiful place in the world, but it's definitely my favourite... So how can I help you, I've got all sorts of news and items to share and trade, ask me what do you want!" I go on the boat and pick up a light axe and Johann says, "ah, Astrid, I see you picked up the gronkle iron axe, light as a feather, but stronger than iron..." I throw it in the air and catch it, then I ask "who gave this to you?" He looks at me and says "ah, good you asked that, there is a man your height, but thinner, who gave me this and other gronkle iron weapons, he said he is known as the 'Dragon master' or 'dragon conqueror' but he prefers the first, he has traveled farther than I ever have, he said that he stopped the dragon raids, while loosing half of his calf leg, which is now a peg leg, but he didn't show his face." I look at him and say "this axe for my old one?" He smiles and nods, then I gave him my old axe and I went to the woods to test it out.
*Hiccup's (Levi's) P.O.V.*
I woke up to Toothless sleeping, I go up to him and measure his tail fin, then I write down the proportions, then I heat up some metal and get to work making a prosthetic fin. Once I finish, I then make attachments to it so I could control it with my left leg, after a few hours I have all the equipment for his new tail fin ready and a new peg leg that is better and is easy to attach to the foot pedal (his peg leg now looks like what it does in the end of how to train your dragon), I then go up to Toothless who is on the ledge just outside our cave looking at the other dragons flying, then I say Toothless...
Yeah Levi...
I have a new tail fin for you... He turns around very quickly with a smile, but I then say but I need to be with you when you fly because I am the only way you can fly... I smile a bit, then he says I love it! You can then fly with me, and then it can build up our connection to each other! He smiles and then allows me to put the gear on, after that we go for our tests.
After a couple of days we got used to it, we train everyday on it and we start making adjustments to them.
*3 years later*
I am now 18 years old, I have stopped growing and I have dragon scale armour (like what he has in httyd2) and a better peg leg that switches between flying and walking modes, I have put an automatic flying switch on Toothless and a new black tail fin with a red half-human half-dragon skull on it (the tail fin is stealthier that way).
