Chapter 4)

*Hiccup's (Levi's) P.O.V.*
When I woke up I went to go and improve my peg leg because it had bent a bit and the leather ripped, so I fixed the bent and then looked for some leather, I looked for a good few minutes, and there wasn't any left, so I went to Leroy and bowed, then I asked Father, I don't have any leather left, may I go to an island to get some?
Yes you may, but only if you stay hidden...
Thank you I then stand up and prepare Toothless, I then get food, drink and a medical kit just in case something happens. When I finished packing I said my goodbyes to everyone and told them that I'll be gone for two weeks. After I had said my goodbyes, I got onto Toothless' back, I then tapped him and he flew out of the cave.
*1 day later*
*Astrid's P.O.V.*
I was in the woods throwing my axe, then a horn went off, I waited, then there wasn't any more, that means a ship is here to visit, it must be Trader Johann. When I get to the docks I see a sight that is terrible, there is a few thin long boats, all broken in some ways with men, women and children on thin as a stick, when they get to the docks, they all look away from other people, some are thin, then others still have their build there, but then the chief comes out and bows in front of Stoick, he then says "I am Gabriel the XIV (14th for those who don't know Roman numerals...) of the Denevar tribe of the north, and I am with my village who got attacked a couple days ago, we seek a place to stay, resupply and repair our ships, and we will be gone after that, will you allow us to stay?" Stoick took in a deep breath, then says, "yes, but you have to help us get your supplies, and if you make a new village and we get attacked and have to seek refuge, then we can go to you, deal?" The chief then smiles and says "deal" Stoick nods and shows them around, but Gabriel's son comes to me and the rest of the gang, he then smiles and says "so, who here is Astrid?" I was taken back, how does he know my name? I don't know, but I look at him and then say "me..." I stare at his muscular body, he then says, "ah, ok, I'll quickly get someone..." He quickly walks back and grabs a girl, and drags him to us, he then says "sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Talmai, son of the Denevar tribe, and this fish bone that I'm holding is, well, I don't know if she has a name, but I just call her 'fish bone' so just call her that." He then smiles, then I roll my eyes and walk to the woods, I start doing the usual, throwing my axe and sharpening it, then I hear a cry of pain, then another, I start to walk over to where the sound comes from, then I see the small girl get whipped by that Talmai guy, he then says "you have better had died in the raid! No one likes you, everyone wants you dead, stop trying to live!" I could just see the sadness is the girl's eyes, she then sheds a tear, then Talmai cuts her off the ropes and gives her another punch to the stomach, he then walks away cracking his knuckles. The girl then stands up and walks the other direction, I follow her, she then finds a cove, after looking for 20 minutes, and she climbs down, she then goes into the corner and crawls up in a ball and crys her heart out, I feel sad for her, wait, WHAT? I feel sad for her, ah shit, I barely know her. I look at her and then sigh, I stand up and walk to her, she obviously spots me because she stands up and starts running to the large tree like thing, she then jumps on and climbs up it, I follow, we go through the forest, she gets to a cliff, then stops, picks up a stick, then holds it with both hands, but she faces the other direction to me, then I see, there is firstly a night fury, but also a person standing next to it, the figure then gets on the dragon and growls, that's weird, then they fly up. We loose sight of the dragon and the person. The girl then turns round, then says in a weak voice "why, why follow? I'm just a runt, no one cares about me, no one!" She shouts the last part, then she runs off, I just stand there.
