Chapter 2: Freedom

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. He breathed heavy although I assumed he awoke a minute ago.
"Nana, I have to go somewhere today. I'm afraid ill have to tie you up now." He said.
His name is Jack. He took everything from me. I hate him, everything about him is sick. His face, his values...his mind. Everything. He tied my hands together. Then he tied them to the bedpost. The way he touches me is sick.
"I will be back later, angel face." He said. He went upstairs to I don't know where. Probably out to a bar or something. God, someday I will get out of here. And when I do, I will have my revenge.
An hour passed, I laid down on my side and tried to fall asleep. I guess I'm just afraid he will try and touch me again, but he isn't even here. I felt a bead of sweat forming on my forehead. I wonder if I had to the power to end it. Well, I can't reach my power. The knives are upstairs in the kitchen. There is nothing to cut the rope with.
Another hour passed, I feel like I could throw up. The ropes around my wrist feel like there getting tighter, cutting my circulation.

THUMP!

Before I knew it, I fell. My bottom hit the floor and the blanket slipped off with me. I used the ropes to pull myself to my feet. I sat back down again. I dreaded the moment the door would open, and he would be back. I just wish he had tied them a little looser today.
3 hours had passed, and I hoped he would never come back. I have no idea what time it is. I could happily sit here forever instead of seeing him. It grew hot in here. I wish I could leave. I want to leave. I need to leave.
The door slammed open. He was here. I could almost hear his footsteps.
It sounded like he was heading towards the kitchen though. Thank god. Maybe I was gonna get a break today. Although, I'm still afraid to sleep sometimes.
I heard footsteps come towards here. Darn it, what happened to my break? The little door was swung open, slow, light footsteps made there way down the stairs. And they stopped in front of the door to this room. The door knob started to turn, extremely slow. The door creaked. It was opening at a deathly slow pace. He was here. But suddenly, the door slammed open.
At the door was not him, but another person whom I've never seen before. He had brown hair. He was average height it seemed. He couldn't be any older than 15, my age. He wore a uniform, with a dark green cloak.
"Who are you?" I said

"I'm Eren Jaeger. Whats your name?"
He kneeled down and untied my wrist from the ropes. I moved my fingers, letting the blood flow once again continue. I'm free, I can leave.
"I'm Nana." I said, "am I allowed to leave?"

"Yeah, that's why I'm here." Eren said.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, it was probably a weird thing to do. But I haven't seen another human being besides Jack in 6 months.

"Thank you! We better hurry, he could be back any minute now!" I said.

Eren picked me up bridal style and carried me upstairs. He kicked the front door open, and for the first time in long time, I was outside.

"I found a survivor!" Eren yelled. A girl with short black hair ran over.

"Can you walk?" Eren asked. I nodded. He put me down. My bare feet felt cold on the concrete ground.

"Take her to the rest, Mikasa. I'm gonna check the surrounding houses." Eren said. She nodded. She picked me up and cables shot out. We were flying! I held on tighter and shut my eyes.
"Don't let go" Mikasa said.

Finally, we landed. I might of well kissed the ground right then because I slopped down to my knees. I was really free. No more him.

Mikasa led me into a safe looking building. There were children and people everywhere. I also noticed a few older women treating wounds to injured people. A few are wearing the same uniform Eren is.

"Well, go on. Your safe now." Mikasa said. I looked back at her with a reassuring smile. She smiled back. Well, now that that I'm finally out of that...prison. I suppose I should catch up. I have no idea what has happened in the outside from 6 months ago till now.
I found a little spot and sat down against the wall. I attempted to listen to the conversation next to me.

"Mommy, will we see daddy?" A little girl said with hope in her eyes.
"Oh, darling. I'm sure he will show up, we just need to pray a little harder." Her mother replied.
I hope she finds her father.
"Excuse me, miss. you seem a bit lonely. How are you holding up?" The little girl asked, "I'm Hanna by the way."
"I've been better, I actually have no idea what's been going on." I said.
"Well, there are giant humans out there. But my daddy is gonna beat em' up for us!" Hanna said. I smiled at her words. She is so innocent looking.
"Is your dad in the military?" I asked.
"Yes, he is a very strong man." Her mother said, "I'm Haleigh."
"It's nice to meet you Haleigh!" I cheerfully said. She had long brown hair, and Hanna had blonde, besides that they look just alike with their matching baby blue eyes.
Haleigh seemed to be no older than 27, and I assume Hanna is around 9.

"Do you have any folks out there?" Haleigh asked.

"Not that I know of." I said.
Haleigh's expression changed.
"Do you have a place to go?" She asked.

I thought about it. I do, but I haven't been there in 6 years. I forgot where it even is. The last time I was there, my Aunt Mary was murdered in cold blood. I was kidnapped by those awful 3 strange men.

"Not really." I said. Haleigh put a hand on my shoulder. "If you would like, you can stay with us until we find them." She offered. I didn't have a place to go at all, so I might as well.
"I would love too, thank you very much!" I said. Hanna hugged me,
"I'm Nana, by the way." I said.
Maybe this could be the beginning to a new life for me!
