Chapter 15

*Liam's POV*

"Don't walk any further!" My little mate fumed.

"What?! Lilly! I'm your mate! I have all the right to be near you!" I retorted.

"You mean my EX-MATE?! And yes. You lost the right to touch me, the next minute you rejected me." She screamed while tears ran down her cheeks, which were reddened.

My heart broke again listening to her, talking about the rejection. Even after two years, I still remembered the broken and painful face of my beautiful mate.

If I had it this worse, I cannot imagine the pain I put her through. Even though rejecting your mate was strictly against the law of werewolves, I still did it. I went against the Moon Goddess. I am suffering though. I suffered for two years and I'm still suffering.

"Lilly, I know what I did to you was really cruel and selfish. I know I shouldn't have left you. But I did. And you don't have a single idea of how much I regret  that. If you still love me, please give me another chance. Please! I swear I won't screw it. I lov-"

"STOP! Stop before I rip you to shreds! Do you even have a single emotion in that head of yours?! Liam, you left me after making lov- oh Sorry! You left me right after you fucked me! MATES DON'T DO THAT! I loved you since the time I recognised you as my mate. But YOU? It would've been still better if you just right up told me you didn't like me. But no. You chose to humiliate me and impregnate me!" She gasped after saying the last bit.

I stared at her in utter shock. I made her pregnant. I have a child. I'm a father!

Then I looked at the pup next to her and then realised that the quivering beauty next to my mate was my daughter. My flesh. My blood. My baby!

Now I understood the wave of pride that came over me earlier.

"Is-is is she my daughter?" I asked. Stuttering for the first time in life.

Lily stared down at her feet and played with our pup's hair.

"IS SHE MY DAUGHTER, LILY?! ANSWER ME DAMN IT!" I shouted for which Lily shot up her head and all I could see in her eyes were anger.

"YES LIAM. YOU ARE HER FATHER. But obviously you wouldn't want her. Someone like you would never be able to give up their playboy ways! Oh wait! You weren't there to love your own mate. How would you be ready to even participate in my child's life?!" She screamed.

I hung my head low and answered, "Lily I know I've done terrible things. But that doesn't mean that I'll reject my own daughter! She is my flesh. She is my blood! How can I reject her?! How could you hide this from me?! If I didn't come now, you would've never told me this! Would you?!"

"No Liam. I wouldn't have told you this because I know that you would reject her too. And I didn't want my daughter to go through the same thing as me." She whispered the last bit.

I felt as if daggers would hurt less compared to the pain I felt now. My mate's words cut deep through me. I couldn't believe I hurt her to this extent. All I could do was, stare at her with regret and guiltyness.

"I'm sorry Lily." I whispered.

She stared at me again with shock. But didn't say anything.

"I'll introduce her to you later. She's very tired now." She said, gesturing towards the little version of me and her. I was so proud of the little girl that had very sleepy eyes now. She is my daughter. Her mother is my mate.

That was the moment I decided, I would not back off from getting my mate and child back. I will win my mate's trust back. I'll make sure she's safe in my arms with our child.

*Lily's POV*

I watched his face as unknown emotions passed through his eyes when he saw Abby and me.

Those emotions scared me.

There was something in his eyes that told me that he would win us back.

But he won't, right?
He can't.

Right?

Yeah I know I'm DAMN LATE in updating! Just wait till 22nd March. I'll try to update weekly!
