Chapter 10

*Lillian's POV*

"Uh-h....Yeah...hey wait....how do you know my name?" I asked but I just wanted to divert their attention.

"Well, we found some documents in your bag which contained your birth certificate and we know your name, age and parents." He replied.

Shit!

"Y-you Kn-ow w-who m-my p-parents a-re?" I asked while stuttering. This cannot be good.

"Yeah....and I very well know that they are the betas of our neighboring pack....The Meriden Pack." He replied quite satisfied by the fear in my eyes.

"Well....Are you gonna call them?" I asked.

"I wasn't planning on it...but I guess your eager to meet them...uh?" He asked while picking up the phone kept on his desk.

"No...no...no!!..Don't do it! I don't wanna go back....please please....I'm ready to join this pack please....I beg of you...." I went on rambling with tears on my eyes while Max held me.

As I sobbed into Max's T-Shirt, Max just held me and when I looked up at him, he was staring into nothingness and that's when a wolf mindlinks someone. Even Jason was mind-linking somebody....so I guess they both are mind-linking with each other.

"Uh-h....since you don't wanna go back to your old pack and your pregnant, you can join our pack." He replied coming out of his mind-linking trance.

"Wouldn't you wanna kno-" I started but I was cut by Jason again.

"I know the reason and I'm really sorry for it."

"Okay." Was the only reply I gave to Jason and turned to leave. I turned back again to ask something.

"Can I have the pack-joining process done now? Cauz now I'm in great insecurities unless and until I get to join your pack and draw a safety fence for the baby inside me." I questioned him.

"Sure...." saying this he got a gun-like looking thing and came nearer to me, turned me, pushed my hair to the side and shot the gun-like thing on my back right where my head joins my back AKA where my old pack's sign lay.

At first, it was a bit painful but then I got distracted in the several Mind-Links that connected to my own mind.

My old pack sign would vanish in 2 - 3months because it was there from the time I was born and this new sign would take its place there properly. Now, it must look lyk its over lapped or something but I don't care about the sign.....

All I care about is now that I have a baby to look after.

"You okay?" I heard Max ask while Jason just stared at me.

"Uhh...Yeah...I'm fine." I replied with my dimpled smile.

"Lily...I want you to keep this money for your baby." Jason said seriously while handling me a bundle of $100 notes.

"No....I can't keep this money Alpha because you've already done me a big favour by accepting a rogue into your pack and I'll forever be debted to you for that." I replied with sincerity clear in my voice.

"Are you sure? How are you gonna supply for the baby? You need this money Lily." He said while softening his facial features from before.

"No, Alpha....I'm gonna find a job nearby....infact I was just gonna ask Max about a place to work so yeah. I'll be perfectly fine." I replied again with confidence.

"Okay...the confidence, I can literally feel the confidence in you." He said while I laughed at his comment.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked while watching me with amusement.

"Alpha...you can feel the confidence in me because you are my Alpha and Alphas can feel whatever their pack members are feeling when there's no mind block." I said biting my lips to stop my laugh while I saw Jason's face becoming red, I couldn't control it anymore and started laughing while leaning on Max for support. He also was laughing looking at his Alpha with great amusement.
