*Liam's POV*
As I looked up at the staircase, I see Megan. She was my Mom's friend's daughter and a very close friend of mine. She had left to pursue a major in Germany and shifted back to our pack a few days ago when I was away.

"Megan! How are you?!" I asked hugging her.

"Well, apart from picking up the German slang and making it sound the absolute worse, I'm doing absolutely great." She giggled.

And then she noticed all the people behind me and waited for an introduction as my eyes fell on Lily. Her confused and annoyed face told me exactly what she was thinking. I quickly wanted to clear the air but my hope grew seeing her anger. Seeing her annoyed face made me think that maybe I still have a chance. I still could get my family back.

"This is Megan, a very close friend of mine. She had left to study in Germany and returned just a few days ago. Megan, this is the Moonstone Delta Pack. They're here to help our pack."

"Oh hello everybody, nice to meet you and I hope we learn a lot from your pack." She smiled warmly.

Lily glared at her and I looked at her amused at her expressions.

'We can win her back.'

*Lily's POV*

"Abby, baby come on. Please come here. You need to get to bed soon. Let's quickly take a bath and go to bed. Mommy's very tired."

This little human looked at my face and ran on the exact opposite direction.
'She really is becoming spoilt. I need to be more stern with her' I thought and walked towards where she had ran off. I was super tired from the travel and also meeting everybody in the pack. Since we arrived around late afternoon, the Meriden pack held a Barbecue for us. I had to face my parents and my brothers which was the worst. For the most part of the evening, I tried to ignore them but obviously it didn't work. They waited for me and my brothers just ran and hugged me while I stood like a lifeless doll. I was numb towards them. It took me so much time to suppress whatever I felt for them and by now, all that pain I went through made me numb. I couldn't feel any emotions towards them while they sobbed and kept saying how sorry they were and how much they missed me.

I looked at their face as they straightened up and just walked right past them without saying anything. They don't deserve anything. And that's exactly what I gave them.

I met my parents next and before they could even begin the drama, I walked past quickly and went to Jase. He was talking to the Beta and a few elders in the pack. I made myself engage in their conversation and just drown out whoever caused me pain. For a person who isn't so good at handling emotions, I must say I'm doing a great job.

'True' , Cara said.

I guess that's where all the weariness is from. Too much emotional stress made me physically very tired and weary. I just wanted to get to bed and Abby wasn't cooperating at all.

I followed her to see where she ran off and I saw her in my mother's arms.

"Well who is this little munchkin? Aren't you the cutest little thing?!" My mom smiled as she held Abby and pinched her nose.

Abby giggled in response.

"Abigail." I called her out sternly. I didn't want my hateful family anywhere near my daughter.

"Lily?!"

"Could I have my daughter back please?"

"She's yours?! And her name is Abigail? That's a beautiful name for an absolutely beautiful baby girl" my mom said as she tucked Abby's hair strands behind her ear and smiled at her.
