Manik's phone rang

Manik: hello

Doctor: manik? This is nandini's doctor

Manik: oh yes..

Doctor: her reports are out..

Manik: oh everything is fine na?

Doctor: please come to the hospital!

Manik could feel that her tone was not right

Manik: yes doctor coming!

He cut the phone

Manik: nandini chalo..

Nandini: abhi?

Manik: haan reports aa gaye!

Nandini: acha let me get ready..

Nandini and manik both got ready and went out of the room..

Ayaan was out in the garden playing..

Nandini went to navya's room and told her..

They left soon..

At the hospital-

Doctor: come in..

Nandini and manik sat..

Nandini: the reports are okay na?

Doctor: woh nandini..you have..

Nandini and manik both got worried

Manik: what is it?

Doctor: blood cancer..

They both sat their numb..

Nandini did not know what to feel and manik was too disturbed to feel anything..

Manik: what happened?

Doctor: blood cancer..i would say u should start the chemo..as soon as possible!

Nandini: no doctor..it cant be..no..i cant die now..

Manik was still numb..he could feel his hands and legs breaking apart and his whole body was cold..

Doctor: nandinii! Understand..please u have to be strong..

Nandini shouts: nooo! I cant die..i camt leave manik..i cant leave ayaan..

She had tears in her eyes

Nandini: manik kuch bolooo..

Manik looked at nandini with tears in his eyes..

Nandini: i cant diee..

She ran away out of the room crying..

Manik with teary eyes: doctor mein kya karoo..

Doctor: manik please! U have to be strong..for her..she needs you! There is still hope..chemo can treat her well..

Manik with his hands on his forehead

Manik: shit! Ye sab kya hogaya..

Doctor: i know its not easy manik..but u have too..

Manik: when do we come?

Doctor: tomorrow morning for chemo..

Manik left the room..

He went outside..

Nandini was sitting on a bench looking down..

Manik sat beside nandini..

He wiped his tears and looked at nandini

Manik: nandini chalo..kal ana parega..

Nandini burst out in tears

Nandini crying: i am sorry manik! I dont want to leave you..forgive me! I didnt want this..

Manik hugged her

Manik: shhh kuch nehi hoga..

He had tears in his eyes too but he wiped them..

Manik: kuch nehi hoga tumhe..

Nandini kept crying

Nandini: i am sorry..

Manik: no nandini! U,yes you nandini,can never ever leave me..i know..

He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead..

Nandini wiped his tears too..

Manik: chalo..

They both went..

Manik's car-

Manik's pov: nandini cannot leave me..i will die! I will die without her..she is life,she is my star,she is nandini..u cannot take him..

Nandini: manik?

Manik: hmm

Nandini: hum saab ko kya bolene..

Manik: abhi nehi..

Nandini's pov: aiyappa..just when i think i cant hurt him more..i doo..he is not showing..i dont want to leave u manik..idk how it would be all alone up there..

She wiped the tears from her eyes..

They reached soon..

Both of them went to their rooms,to their relied they met no one on the way..

Nandini lied down..

Manik sat beside her..

Manik: nandini..

Nandini: manik..promise me..u will be happy..

Manik: nothing is gonna happen to u nandini..

Nandini: no please manik.. I dont know if i will stay or not..but i always be there..

Manik for the first time could not control his tears..he cried like no other time..

Nandini say up crying and pulled him in a hug..

Just then nandini's phone rang

Doctor: hello nandini? Nandini those were not your reports...
