Chapter-6

The baby slept soon..

Nandini: aww so handsome! Look how he is sleeping..

Manik smiled

Manik picked the baby and kept him on his baby-cot!

It was night soon..

Amms had arrived! She was so happy to see the baby!

The baby was fed every 2 hours! The nurse explained many things to nandini like how to do his shower and all..

At 9pm-

Everyone left and nandini and manik stayed at the hospital..

Manik dimmed the light and kissed the baby's forehead and lied down beside nandini!

Nandini placed her head on his chest..

Nandini: finally na manik..

Manik: hmm..tumhe pain hi raha hain?

Nandini: no

Manik: u r okay na?

Nandini: haan baba! Humara baby bhi okay..

Manik and nandini smiled

Manik: acha nandini! What about the name?

Nandini: manik mein soch raha tha aarav! Appa ka nam bhi aarav tha..

Manik: done! Aarav malhotra!

Nandini smiled: oh did u think about the godfather and godmother?

Manik: i decide godfather..u decide godmother!

Nandini laughs: acha thik hain..

They soon slept!

After about 2 hours-

Aarav started crying but very softly..

Manik's sleep broke and he jumped up..

He went and picked aarav..

Manik: kya hua aapko..bhuk lagi hain?

Manik walked a while but he was still uneasy and crying softly..

Manik then sat beside nandini..
Manik: nandini.. Feed him! Bhuk lagi hain shayed..

Nandini woke up and manik placed him on a pillow beside her..

Nandini fed him very carefully and he was soon asleep again!

The night passed like this..every 2 hours feeding aarav and them waking up!

But not for once did they get annoyed! Such cute parents they were!

Next day-10am

Nandini and manik were both awake!

Doctor came

Doctor smiling: goodmorning! Ready to go home with your baby?

Nandini: cant wait..

Manik completed the discharge formalities..

Chacha-chachi and amms came while the others decorated the house to welcome baby and mommy!

They left the hospital soon..

No one could say by looking at them that they were parents! Still they looke same! Young and beautiful and handsome!

They reached home soon..

They decorated the house beautifully with blue and white balloons..

Nandini came inside carrying the baby..the smile was never to go from her face!

Alya: welcome welcome! Mommy and baby!

They all came inside..

Cabir came forward to the baby: such a handsome boy! Just like me..

Everyone laughed..

Navya: ehh..meri tarha handsome hain..

Cabir: kyu tum ladka ho?

Navya: haan... Toh..

She bit her tongue

Navya: shit no...

Everyone started laughing..

Cabir: ahhh..akhir sachai samne aa hi gayi..

They all laughed and everyone adored the baby one by one!

Amms and chacha-chachi gave their gifts to the baby! At evening they left..

The others sat in the living room..

Aryaman: chalo upar! Baby's gift time from all of us..

They all went upstairs to manan's room..

They entered seeing a big,wooden baby bed designed beautifully with white curtains..

Nandini: wow..

Inside the baby bed were all types  of baby stuffs..basically for nandini's use!

Baby clothes,shoes,swEaters,socks,towel,pillow,bed matress and what not..

Nandini was very happy and thanked everyone by hugging them..

Cabir: chalo u guys take rest! Raat ko dinner party..

Manik: haan thik hain!

They all all left leaving the three..
