Chapter-7

Manik: is he sleeping?

Nandini: hmm

Nandini placed him on his bed and kissed his forehead..

Nandini: chalo lets take a shower and get ready.. Naming ceremony and dinner hain na?

Manik: haan.. Just family right?

Nandini: yes! Amms will bring pandit ji..for the namkaran..

Manik: hmm..

Nandini was heading towards the wardrobe when manik pulled her holding her hand..

Nandini crashed with his body..

Manik: how much i missed this..

Nandini: kyu?

Manik; yeh tumhare big tummy ke wajahse kar nehi sakta tha na..

Nandini: shutup.. Did i get very fat?

Manik: no nandini! Look at you! No difference..

Nandini smiled..

Manik pulled her more closer holding her waist..

Nandini: manik..before u get very very comfortable..

Manik crashed his lips with hers..

He kept kissing her and soon nandini joined too..

They stepped backwards and lied down on the bed..manik above her still kissing..

When their lips parted

Nandini: manik we cant..

Manik: i am not doing that..

The baby made a bit noise..

Nandini: uth gaya kya?

Manik went and saw him

Manik: nope! Sleeping peacefully..my boy! He can never disturb me..

Nandini smiled: chalo shower karne..

Manik: oh yeah..

He picked nandini up and went for a shower!

They both came out dressed..

Manik wore a black sweater with brown pants..

Nandini: my baby..will get dressed up now!

She picked up the baby and placed him on the bed..

Nandini took a cotton sweater which alya gave and made him wear that..

She then wrapped him up with a blue baby blanket..

Manik: picked him up..chaloo!!

Nandini and manik both went down! Amms and everyone had arrived..

Rishabh: such a cute boy..

Amms took the baby!

They all sat

Navya: toh kya naam socha?

Nandini: aarav..appa ka naam..

Amms smiled: nandu tumhare papa always chahte the ke tum dono mein se ek bache ka nam ayaan rakhe..ye nam usko bohot pasand tha..or kehta bhi tha..meri natin ko mein ayaan keh ke pukarunga.. Ayaan means god's gift!

Nandini smiled with slight tears in her eyes: ayaan hi hoga! Appa toh dekh rahe honge na mere bache ko..

Amms wiped the tears from her eyes: zaroor kana.. Pandit ji ayaan thik karlijiye..

Abhimanyu: ayaan malhotra! Beautiful!

Everyone smiled and liked the name..

They had a family dinner together!

After a long chat session chacha-chachi and amms left..rishabh wanted to stay behind with his nephew..

They were drinking champagne..

Manik stood up: okay guys! Time to announce the godfather and godmother of our baby! Just know we love u all equally but had to choose 2..

Nandini: i announce the godmother to be navya naveli..

Navya jumps up: yayyy!!

Everyone claps..

Aryaman: gaya ye bacha..

They all laugh again..

Manik; and godfather cabir..

Cabir stood up and hugged manik! And then nandini!

He felt overwhelmed..

This baby was surely very very lucky! The love of so many people..such amazing parents..such amazing uncle and aunt's! What else does he need? He was the apple of everyone's eyes and ofcourse as they called him their bundle of joy ❤️
