Leila's POV

"Mikey!" I laughed, leaning away from him so he couldn't get blue frosting on my face.

He was laughing it up, "What?" He licked the frosting off his finger, which was now stained blue. The exact reason I didn't want to get it on my face. That and it would have felt sticky, even if I had went to the bathroom to clean it off. "It would have matched your beautiful eyes."

I couldn't help blushing. I shoved his shoulder, "Shut up."

Mikey snickered and pulled me into his chest. This was as Niall was walking by with Harry. I could feel Niall's stare burning into my back through my red and black flannel. I hugged my arms tighter around Mikey as his tightened. Even after I knew he was gone, it still felt like was he was.

'All clear?' I asked, not unhiding my face from his warm and comforting chest. Honestly, in my opinion, Mikey and I really do have a connection. It doesn't even seem like we're fake dating. We've become convincing over the past three weeks.

'Yeah,' He replied, kissing my head and letting go. But he kept an arm wrapped around my back. I rested my head on his shoulder as I picked up another fry and munched on it.

"Look at the cutest couple," Ashton teased and he sat down with his tray. Jo followed in suit next to him. Her stare wasn't at us. I don't have to look to know who she's looking at. I can feel him looking at over at us. It's all he does during lunch. He barely eats. Which I shouldn't admit this, worries me. Wolfs need to eat a lot because we burn a lot.

Mikey chuckled, chucking a fry in his direction, "Shut up, Ash."

"Hey!" Ashton exclaimed, picking up one of his own fries to throw at Mikey.

A small smile crossed my lips and I laughed under my breath. I kissed Mikey's shoulder before grabbing my tray and standing up. Mikey moved to stand up so he could walk with me but I shook my head, "I'll be fine."

I don't think Niall would ever actually hurt me, but you never know. And I can defend myself. For the most part. His icy stare is enough though.

I walked up and dumped my tray. Then set it in it's rightful place on the table. When I turned around, I about had a heart attack.

"Niall," I scolded, my eyes turning into daggers despite the beating of my heart. Without another word I stepped around and went to walk away.

He grabbed my left wrist, the touch searing me, "What're you doing, Leila?" His accent was thick. He's pissed.

"Let go of me," I gruffed, ripping out of his grip. He was quick to grab me again and this time, he added pressure. Even with quick healing, I was feeling the bone cracking. I clenched my teeth and with all the strength I had, I grabbed his hand and tore it off. Barely moving my wrist hurt like Hell. The small tears welded up. Luke's trained us for the worst pain in a battle, but this hurt more than anything. Maybe cause Niall inflicted it?

Niall's face softened, "Lei, I'm sor-" Niall went bounding backwards at the force of Mikey's punch in his face. I couldn't stop the shock crossing my face-- eyes wide, mouth dropped, the whole shabang.

"I told you to stay away from my girlfriend," Mikey spat, giving Niall a hard glare. Niall held his nose as he scrambled to get it up. Harry came over to stand by his side, glaring at Mikey.

After a couple of seconds, Mikey turned around to look at me. Gently, he grabbed my brown and purple bruised wrist, "Might be broken. How's it feel?"

I shrugged, not giving a response. I don't feel like talking right now. And my throat was tightening up.

'Please talk,' Mikey begged slightly.
