"Girls!" A voice boomed in the over-head speaker. The four sighed.

"Looks like we're up." One of the girls spoke, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear.

"But we just got back." One of the girls complained from her spot on the rug, doing a puzzle in company of her sleeping Eevee.

"Boss' orders, May." The first girl stood, towering over to puzzler. With a groan she pushed herself up off the carpet and grabbed the out stretched hand, letting the other hoist her up.

Eevee peaked an eye open, before stretching languidly and slipping back into a peaceful sleep. May just smiled at her pokemon before stretching herself.

"Someone should go get Misty," a new voice joined the two. They turned to find one of their partners pulling back her midnight blue hair. She was in one of her signature skirts and vested tops, her Pokémon partner by her feet. The Piplup was quick to move over to Eevee, to wake her with a stream of water. Eevee flicked its tail and rolled over, ignoring the little penguin.

"Where is she?" The first asked.

"Right here, Leaf." The three turned to the doorway. There stood their other team mate, towelling her red hair as she motioned to the hall with her head. "Boss' calling." The sound of little foot steps trailed behind the girl, and Togepi emerged. She gleamed at the sight of Eevee, who greeted the little baby with a cheery call. The baby giggled.

"We heard." The bluenette spoke tiredly as the group made their way to the elevator. Piplup was the only Pokémon to trail after their partner. The other two seemed content in playing about.

"Don't sound so sullen, Dawn." Misty swung her arm around the others shoulder. Dawn immediately squeaked as Misty's swim suit brushed against her pristine clothes, soaking them in pool water.

"Mist!" She exclaimed and pushed the other back, who just laughed. Leaf came up behind the two and pushed the elevator button, guiding the now two arguing girls into the lift. She waited for May to join them before she pressed the button to the top floor.

The elevator opened straight into the office of their Boss. He stood behind his desk, eyes peering out the window. They walked through, each taking up their usual spots in the room as they waited to be addresses.

"You have another mission." The man turned, his shoulders tense as he looks out to each of the girls.

"Another one?! But we just completed the last one a few hours ago. I haven't even had dinner yet!" May complained, her face as red as the bandana holding her hair up as she huffed. "I wanted at least one night in my own bed."

"May." Leaf commanded. May fell into a heaped silence on the couch, cheeks puffed in annoyance but biting her tongue. She knew not to go against the mission leader.

"What is this mission?" Leaf addressed their Boss directly.

"We have been assigned to investigate the organisation known as Team Cloud." The man looks solemn in his words. "Before they have a chance to harm another student at Meloetta Music Academy."

"T-team cloud!?! But that's impossible!" Dawn stutters, gripping a shivering Piplup. "No one's even been close to finding any information on them. They're known for covering their tracks." Piplup looks ready to burst.

"Not to mention anyone who's gotten close disappears." Misty added on, unhelpfully. Piplup struggles out of his partners grip and onto the floor, taking in a deep breath as Dawn panics.

"Thank you, Misty." Leaf sighs as Dawn drops to the ground after Piplup.

"We have no leads, no witnesses. How are we supposed to find them?" Dawn looks up at their Boss.

"Find some, Dawn." He raises a brow, waiting for her to speak again. Silence follows. "We got intel from a reliable source, stating that they have located the next targets." He pulls out a remote and presses a button. A small buzzing sounds, and on the wall projects four faces. "Four students by the name of Ash Ketchum, Andrew Hayden, Gary Oak and Paul Shinji." With each name he clicks a button, and the projector flicks from one face to the other. "Their files are on my desk. I want this handled professionally and without fault." He waits as the girls come up, each taking a file.

"With all due respect sir, everyone who has pursued Team Cloud hasn't made it back." Leaf looked to their Boss, sombre in her expression. "To handle a mission like this..."

"You four are my best." The man came to stand in front of the oak desk, looking at each girl pointedly. "There's no one else. Now pack your stuff. You leave within the hour."

The four watch as he moves to sit behind his desk once more.

They make their ways to the elevator. The man didn't look up as the doors closed.

          -----------------Time skip-----------------

"What was that about?" She asked packing her suit case.

"I've never seen a mission affect him like this." Leaf agreed quietly as she packed her things. "Team Cloud must be up to something big." She zipped up her case.

"I'm too young to die." Misty complained. "Too pretty too." She added on.

May agreed. She knew that their team was one of the best their agency had. The Boss wasn't lying. Even being at the age of 15 herself, and the youngest in the group, she knew they could handle anything. She just never pictured anything including this.

"Condemned at 16." Misty sighed dramatically, leaning against Dawn. "Doesn't feel right, right?" She asked the bluenette who shared her age.

"Come on guys," May smiled up at the group, wide and bright. "We've never backed down from a fight, so why stop now!"

"May's right." Leaf stepped up. "We're all in this together." The authority she held as she spoke sent a chill down Mays spine. She sometimes forget why Leaf was mission leader. Though she was the oldest at 17, it was her determination and mind that granted her the position.

"It's just like every other mission." May placed her hand out in front of her. The others circled around. With a smile, each girl put her hands in; Misty, then Dawn. The three look towards Leaf. She only smiled at their antics before her own hand joined the team.

Before they could throw them up, there was a squeak of complaint by their feet. They look down to find Piplup, eyes watering as he watched their hands. The three crouched down, and the little penguins flipper joined in.

"You want in on this too?" May called. Eevee had been sunning by the window with a sleeping Togepi. Her ear twitched before she rolled and stretched. Togepi rolled and popped out. The two made their way over, their own paws joining in. On three they cheered, all smiles. They had each other.

There was a knock on the door. One of the servers stood straight, their voice strong as they announced that their car was waiting for them.

"Now of never." They call back their Pokémon and grab their bags, May saying a saddened goodbye to her bed as they left the mansion.

In the car they quickly went over their files.

"We're in a band?! This is gonna be so cool. Ooo I can't wait for the costumes!" Dawn squealed excitedly.

"Ha, you have to play bass. At least it will be simple for you." Misty poked out her tounge as she jest. Dawn gasped in mocked offence.

They all laughed.

"Yes! I got the drums!" Misty whooped, pumping her fist into the air.

"What did you get, Leaf?" May questioned. The group turned to their friend.

"Keyboard. You?" She asked. She looked happy with her instrument.

"Guitar." May smiled. They all seemed happy with their instruments.

They moved on from their own persona's, and onto their targets.

"I guess we better memorise these guys faces before tomorrow so we know who we're dealing with." Leaf began studying her file. They all nodded in agreement.
